Hello,
How are you doing? Hope all is well with you and I pray this email finds you in good health. I am sorry that I didn’t tell you about me leaving for this Conference here in England but it was spur of the moment.
I really hate to ask you but I need favor from you because i misplaced my wallet on my way to the hotel where my money and other valuable things were kept.I really need a loan urgently. I will be needing the sum of $3,500 to sort-out my hotel bills and get myself back home.
You will send the money to me via Western Union Money Transfer with my details:
Name : Andy Kaw
Address :15 Berkeley Square. Clifton
Zip code : BS8 1HB
City : Bristol
Country : England
Kindly help me to send it soon and let me know the reverence numbers(MTCN) with the details of the transfer.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Andy Kaw
1. The above illustrates one good example of the typical email scams that I received in my hotmail box.
2. I do receive one such scam email every other day, more so in the aftermath of the stranded passengers incidence due to volcanic ash eruption.
3. I just want to share with the samsters here to be wary of such scams by exercising due caution and vigilance.
4. Perhaps these scamsters can take a leaf from the below saying:
Speak Kind Words,
Think Good Thoughts
Do Good Deeds
And Walk the Right Path
