i assume u'r a pc user and i don't know anything abt pcs. but i'm sure there are free software on the net, or that came with yr pc, that can import digital vid and allow for some editing. after editing, the software shd allow u to save into a few different formats. for net posting, the best (smallest) file size is wmv, but the clearer format is rm (slightly bigger file size).

based on my own experience, and with the limitation on post size here of 300kb, u can have rm files of up to 25secs long each to not exceed the 300kb limit.

if u mean how to play the files: just download to disk, click on the file and it shd open up in real player and start playing.

if u mean how come it can't play: i don't know leh. maybe something went wrong with your installation? maybe the latest version is incompatible with yr operating system? can u play any other real player file?
