I agreed with your statement.
I always try to see things from all angles. If I can get 200k to 300k a pop,and when Wechat/FL offers 400k to 600k a pop...well,the position where I stand to look at the situation will become very different.
But if a girl offers anything below 200k/pop,that I may start to smell something not quite right.

Dun mind paying slightly more for express and most likely my load will definitely less than 1 kg. 2 pieces at most.

If you are staying in Formosa Hotel, try their laundry service. And if you are a regular-enough customer (silver card member),you get 2 pieces of laundry washed free,hehehe...anyway,its not expensive to wash a few pieces of clothings. (should not cost more than S$5 ,with next day delivery)
Just sharing.

Mixture of good and bad stuff this latest trip.

Sounds good, but what was the 'bad stuff' part? The respond from Horizon ferry? If so,then try tweeting a little and make your trip better the next time round.
Hope not something supernatural,hehehe... (i said this becos i encountered something sort of 'supernaturally entertaining' in my last trip)

Yes,this is healthy lifestyle. Leisure walking is always healthier than always sitting behind a bench. I was so attracted to a street performance in my Aug trip near DC Mall and i have almost the entire performance recorded. Took me a while to write my 31st Batam trip summary this time round becos of this and i am not rushing,hehehe...

Next time try Algero KTV at Nagoya Citywalk Mall. Newer KTV with better sound system.Only setback is,no girls...no Mamis. Its a family KTV but well,if I already have a booking girl,i wont be bothered by if there's girls or mamis there. Cheaper too. Its 5 mins walk from Formosa Hotel, even shorter walking distance as compare from Formosa to Nagoya Hill Mall.

May not be doing this for big group, but maybe 1 at a time if anyone is interested.

When it comes to going out together, there isnt really much teaching element. We all learn from each other. Others may see things that I have missed and vice versa. More importantly, one cannot always breathe in and dont breathe out or breathe out and dont breathe in,hence whenever i have a newbie group trip, there are
Terms and Conditions set which they need to read before they PM me to join me. More towards preventing any misunderstanding and conflict if a situation occur. (i kiasu ma,hehehe...) The golden rule is still to respect one another.
In my own mind,i always find Batam fascinating,be it booking joint, shopping, massage or go to places lesser touristy area. Everytime I go to 'places of interest',there is always new insight. Nowaday,i cut back a lot in bringing bros from this forum to Batam due to some bad timing on my part. However, I still bring colleagues, friends i knew online/offline and even relatives there too.
Honestly speaking, solo with small short link up with other/s is still the one of the better choice. Thats of course if the right chemistry and a common understanding has been reached.

For the non-Chinese speaking, the above roughly means when i have 6 apples,i shared my 5 with others. It may appears that i have lost 5 apples, but i may likely made 5 friends and leave some good impression to more than 5. When the 5 or others have other fruits like orange, pear etc,i believe they will be willing to share them with me too. At the end of the day,i may be getting more than 5 different types of fruits, with getting more than 5 different tastes and colors. Not forgetting the friendship within it.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away,hehehe...
