Yes, Mirage Lounge was one of popular flower hanging lounges. Ex-gik worked there before. But now closed. Wanted to go Mirage MP few mths ago and went to look and now whole place like changed into some hotel or something.
Hanging flower concept is quite old school for mainly "dirty rich old men" to show off their riches which is probably now passe.

Numbers are usually fixed as long as the girl is working there. I once RTF a Shark girl after six months by remembering her number. However, I believe they will recycle numbers for those who leave. Ok here goes, these are the clubs I know and been to:
For RCA type of dance clubs go to Ratchadapisek soi 4 where you will find Zaleng,Snops,Baku Pure. This is the in place for dancing for young adults and university students. Music is good and live bands solid. Though you might need to tip waiter to find u a table at crowded club like Zaleng. Picking up girls depending on your skill, smile, say sawadee khrap and the rest up to fate
For TD like in Spore try Hollywood and Dance Fever also at Ratchadapisek but cant recall the soi but its near soi 4. Just tell the taxi driver go Dance Fever at Rachada or take MRT to cultural centre Thailand station. Interested in any dancers just wrap 100baht ($4) on your glass of whiskey and offer to her.She will come to chat with you after her routine. Now u know why the thai puiyings like to work in Spore, hang $50 flower just to chat and bros competing with each other to hang more
For dance clubs where you might glimpse celebrities, models and basically more of the Hi-so crowd, try Muse and Funky villa at Thonglor soi 10. Weekend will be crowded by 10pm and have fun finding the toilets in these clubs
For clubs with freelancers try Climax at basement Ambassdor hotel sukhumvit soi11 (can be very smoky though but closed very late), Insomnia at Sukhumvit 12, Shock 39 Petchburi soi 39 and Liquid Nana at sukhumvit soi 4. These clubs have freelancers from Nana and other agg going there after work or looking for customers.
Others like Concept CM2 at Novotel hotel Siam square has lots of East European girls and Spasso at Erawan hotel with "Hi class" girls meaning charge hi prices but not necessary high standards.
As for hang flower joint haven't been or seen one but my friend base in Bangkok has been to some to entertain clients. It is mostly for those rich old chinese thai teochew who would hang flowers on their favorite PRC singers. It is boring according to him and you will be discouraged as you see those old teochew thai chinese placed stakes of thai baht on the table to be distribute to the singers.

1) yes, if the previous gal quit the job and the gal will have to pay a token sum to the bar if she wants to change to the number the previous gal owns
2) no, only the boss get the full barfine

Agreed 1000 baht can do quite a lot of things in LOS. That night we are partying and having fun. You should have seen the smiles on all the ladies after each got a rose and we have such fun and was very well taken care of that we did not leave till the sun rises. In the end we did not spend much on ladies drinks as most of them just drink from our bottles and we have close to 15 ladies on our table of four (not all at the same time). It's a memorable experience
