Unless not suspicious to them, else just go into the lift first and politely asked them which floor. After pressing the floor for the neighbour, then press a floor that is higher than them. If they are on the highest floor, then I’ll pressed the lower floor.

I usually will still go in, but will press and alight at a different floor, then take the stairs down or up

Avoiding sharing lift message is a template from okt which I often see as well. Nothing wrong also, but who knows another neighbour will come next and you will have to avoid again

Nothing wrong right? So I chose to do avoid this time, naturally let uncle and his dog go up first. Not sure I deserved to be verbally abused by an ML over this..
