Hi bro, where is this excess super club? Heard from friends that this is a high end city w hogger higher class gals, any one can confirm. Can t wait to go there but really need someone to guide me

The address says Quezon City; rest is up to you to find out as I haven't been there. You can search for it in FB as well; full of photos of the clubbers. I met a girl in Republiq who clubs there regularly but she and I are not close enough for me to hook u up with her. I don't think it necessarily means girls who club there are high society just as those who club at Republiq represents the creme de la creme. I have seen plenty of groups/friends just standing at the bars at Republiq sipping on one drink per person.

Excess is a club, not KTV or FL hunting ground. Anything goes! Just go with an open mind. I went to Republiq not knowing what to expect but as winman08 (?) can testify, just go and have fun.

looks like my next visit to manila will be in november. too much going on here in SG and in HK to warrant a visit. i'll post dates once it's confirmed.

as for AJ / alma, i think that's her, can't recognize too well cause it's been awhile and i think her hair is shorter. from what i can remember, smoking.

darknight - hope our schedules match. after what i've read, need to hit republiq.

I don't .. actually, it is fun chatting up strangers, in the club or otherwise, as long as there are not BGs with bulging S&W or Mausers or Glocks ..

Whether you nip them or not, well, I ended up with too many interesting connections .. mostly wasted and disappear after one act - including throwing away sim cards, but a few are still in touch and do visit me when they drop by Singapore ..

For BGs, heck, some BGs even flaunt .22 - though it is the threat more than the actual idea of killing that keeps the peace .. I try hard not to laugh when a guy proudly shows off his .22 !!

I think everybody's risk appetite is different. From an investment POV, it's not going to be worthwhile purchasing an unbuilt unit and then renting it out. For the built units, the prices are already too high to gain any attractive yield.

Some of us here will say, look, if you wanna buy, buy if you wanna stay or if you have a gf and wanna give her a shelter.

I was very into it initially but after talking to a few agents and acquaintances (albeit at Republiq but in their defense, they are property agents), I took stock and backed off a bit. Of course, some will say "just buy". It's like Singapore where there will always be that group who doesn't think the new suburb condo is too expensive.

I met an agent outside Republiq on my last night, trying to sell me a condo at Boracay. I forgot the price but I thought it was reasonable. But when I told my client who has stayed on Boracay for the last 8 years, she was like rolling-her-eyes going "Are you nuts?"

So just tread carefully and weigh it against your own finances. You might have enough money to invest and tide through a period of unemployment or you might just be someone caught in the frenzy.

I'm not sure myself. For the Pacha Ibiza event, a standing table is 12,000 or was it 15,000? Per entry is 1000 but you can basically forget this since everyone is on somebody's guest list.

Aoki is one of the biggest DJ on the planet now... I wouldn't be surprised if the prices exceed the threshold I mentioned.
