Friends, I will be going to manila and Cagayan De Oro next week. Need some information on airport tax and terminal fee tax.. Need to bugget for the trip. Will be most of the time in Cagayan De Oro.

CDO has some bars .. and a famous strip bar .. not sure if it is operating
what are you going to be doing in CDO ?? CDO is closer to Cebu .. of course .. Google map to see the locations ..  PM me if you need any info..

Just found out .. domestic terminal fee in CDO, is 30 peso
But, it is a good idea to Keep some 100 peso notes .. and some 50 peso notes. I am not sure if the airport will levy a 'tourist' tax, as they charge in some domestic airports .. and on their whim ..

Thanks for the information. Am going there to attend a relative's wedding. Hope to find some time to enjoy 2. Did some internet search and found a few spots in CDO. The most popular is spooks pub rated no 1. has goodies there but the price is something like 3000p. Alot of expats hang out there.
Will report after the visit there. Any other areas in CDO please lat me know, i can check it out.

going end of the month.. which are the happening clubs? I usually hunt solo and do lots of fishing which i'm happy without any action. Just love to experience the culture and make friends there. Can anyone recommend me a budget hotel - go there to sleep only for a few hours and i'm out most of the time.. Thanks in advance!

Also cheap "motel" Victoria court is not expensive at all, has nice prices on agoda ATM.
Happening clubs? Do you mean you are planning to look for girls who will go back to your room for free?? If this is the case, forget it and don't believe some westerners who claim they brought 50+ Pinays for free back to their room within 3 weeks.... it is just a load of BS. Or do you mean you plan to go out clubbing without any intention to score? If so you can of course to go to any club at the Fort, or try republiq or lax for example... plenty of eye candy and fun. By the way, it is indeed possible to find beautiful hot Pinays to bring back for free (taking into account you spent your money buying them drinks/food/entrance fee at these clubs) but don't count on it too much if you are there just as a tourist... Also, big warning: Wherever you are (except the places where you find only girls for a fee) don't hit on a girl without carefully checking if she is not alone.... you would hate, hitting on a very hot Pinay in a club to find out later she has a Pinoy boyfriend who has a gun and some friends waiting for you outside. If this is your first time in Manila -> then stick to the P4P places or go clubbing but without hopes to score for free.....you can score for free, even as a tourist. Just remember in clubs/discos -> the really hot ones have money and sometimes even a boyfriend and you are taking too many risks to try to bring a girl back for free. + if you plan to get girls found in clubs, for free, by lying and making them believe you are looking for a long term relationship -> you would better watch out as they can hit back. My advice, if you go out clubbing and wish to get money for your bucks Go to republiq club for example: Book (and pay) for a table, observe things and try to find groups of single Pinays and try inviting them to your table (and you keep the drinks flowing). Of course it will cost you a lot and you have better chances if you are not alone, but don't get your hopes too high since at most prestigious clubs/discos in Manila, the girls there are paying their entrance fee so they usually have money.....

Victoria court, www.victoriacourt.biz Quite prominent and located in most places around metro manila, can check out their links above Both are hourly rates kind, Sogo more like h81 concept, Vcourt is like a motor lodge and they have place for parking too = less rooms, more privacy, but more expensive too Enjoy...

Actually, i'm just there on a small biz meeting with some locals there. Apart from that, I like to party and enjoy music. I'm not really in it to score or hook up with anybody but at least go to club must be happening mah.. if not like wasted trip. Usually I just get to know more people and friends and sometimes contacts here and there.. never know when they might be useful for biz. If it happens, good.. if not then i shall just have a good time myself haha, sounds sad but what to do have to start somewhere.
