I believe that platonic is really zero. As long as there is an attraction, to progress is only natural. I believe that building deep relationships is a good thing, but that's just my POV and am not advocating this to others.

My point is, non platonic relationships NEED NOT be a bad thing. It's confusing, heartbreaking, but as long as everyone is mature about it, focusing on the big picture.. there is a lot of positive attributes. Take a step back and understand other cultures, the Sg School of Thought may not lead to a happy society.

For me, if the male friend is already married or within my professional circle i try to ensure its platonic. Other male friends, progress is a gd thing if the feelings are mutual. otherwise, not nice to lead them on. of cos I agree with u, it gd to hv friends of opposite sex for opinion n variety.

Oohh..is that true online or everywhere? Say in the workplace or the gym or social groups or even religious gathering? True that men will lust mentally and visually all the time?

Yes. Personal experience. till u start requesting. It will then either pissed me off because i have already moved on or restarted the old feeling if i have good memories of the past.
