For the 1st point.. I think they will get the list of guests in the hotel from reception desk.
For the 2nd point.. From what I heard the other day, they will ask you whether you paid $$. If yes, then kena (if I'm not wrong).

But even if paid $$ not a crime right (still need to investigate?)? I thought only if the girl is foreigner then she will be deported.

And what if you only paying the girl at the end of the session, then they come in half way? So of course you haven't paid ?

You can still continue with your activities in a 5 star hotel.

In my experience, I never heard of AV raiding any 5 star hotel either here or in Malaysia. Only encounter 1 raid, many years ago, when I checked in to a tiny hotel with my wife at a small Malaysia town. Middle of the night, the Malay police came knocking and checked our passports and left.

reputation and branding - i think could be reason we should seldom heard report of AV raid 4-5 star hotel, or maybe they did but slient off the aftermath news. It will be rather clear during certain timing of the day on activity around certain area, but the potential risk involve to raid those higher end hotel are higher then budget hotel which probability of successful raid is much higher. sigh....
- just my foolish thinking.
