Are u a singaporean? If yes, tell ur OC tat there might be a recall manning over the weekend, Get ur fren to act as camp COS to call u during weekend and must return camp within 6 hrs. After tat, sms ur OC saying tat need to standby overnite in camp thus can't go home and HP need to be off cos of restricted area.

bro, i m a super fit singaporean already completed my 13 years cycle many many years back....if i m still in reservist, i also know how to make use of army lah! i have used the same trick 10 years back!....now i realized how useful is our army!

i manage to arrange this way... someone in penang willing to help. so i divert all my calls to him... once my OC calls, he picked up and answer says i m doing a presentation so cannot take my call... will call back. i cannot switch off the phone all the time as OC will sure suspect something fishy.

i think this is the best way out....thanks for all the bros helping to think!

Anyway, you better tell your pal in Penang to contact you if she calls and also get a number with "private number" to return her call or else if you use your own number, she will knows that you are in SG if she is smart or observant enough. If cannot call back, cook up another excuse like the meeting went into the night and you don't want to disturb her sleep by calling back in the middle of the night.

Do buy yr friend in Penang a meal or 2 for helping you.

I travelled to Malaysia via the railway 2 years back, there was no immigration chop. Fearing that I might considered to be an Illegal Immigrant, When I reached KL, I went to their Immigration Dept and shown them the rail ticket. They told me that they do not stamp passports of those travelling on Rail from SG.

I don't know if this still exsist.

Back to the topic....i think not possible to divert to overseas line coz as far as i know can only divert to max 10 digits phone number (anyone from telco correct me if i m wrong)......also those bye bye ringtones i always thought it's operator dependant so in theory once roam cannot work (again anyone with telco expertise to verify)....
