Bro, this might be a good idea after all. But by doing so, as u are in S'pore, your hp bill will not reflect any overseas call when u receive your bill the following month.

Unless you tell your OC that u are using using international calling card to call her back as it's cheaper. These ICC usually have 1800 call lines.

if u can "pretend" to go KL..... you can also "pretend" that you forget to bring your phone out mah.... just leave the damn phone at home...save all the trouble... ...

bro, thanks for all the advice. first of all i have my reason for eating outside... because there is no home cook meal!...

i just discovered few things...

1. the singapore h/p no. cannot be diverted to a malaysia h/p on. i have tried. it failed.

2. the feature of caller listening to some music instead of usual ring tone is not available in s'pore... (very common in china)

the rest of the ideas u guy proposed like leaving phone in s'pore etc... will not work as it will get my OC suspect something fishy as i have never been so blur in the past!

any other better suggestion?

so prepare a new wallet and HP when 'back' in Spore..

Bro, music tone in Sillypore is call "colour me tone" from E-ideas..who told you it is only common in China. I still think that the colour me tone is the best way out for you. I'm also not suggesting that you "eat outside".

This works best if your current phone is old and in need of an upgrade.

If your phone is one of those super-high-tech-3G-camera-MP3-coffeemachine-toaster-titanium-GMT-worldtime-waterproof-thousand-dollar phone, then you have to decide if spending the night with your no-red-passport GF is worthwhile or not

i dont know abt the color-me tones in singapore.

In malaysia, when we subscribe to these services, usually before the music start playing, there will be 1-2 regular ringtone. For example, "DU DU...Music starts"

wonder if your OC is so observant ?

All the suggestion appears to encourage you to move out, divert call etc, why don't you think of a way to get your OC out of the house?

For example, stay with her mon, or sisters etc.

Better still, book a chalet and then you may be you can get your GF to bonk in your house...

The other way is to book 2 rooms at Hotel 81 and tell the staff that these room must be able to connect internally.
So when you CO is asleep, hope into the other room and bonk until your GF gets tired and fall asleep.
Then you hop back to your CO room.
