where would you recommend to go if i plan to go either Phuket or Bangkok?

As I have an indication to cheong, I'm a noobie so i'm not sure of thailand yet. So i wonder if seniors here can offer me help about whether it's better to cheong at phuket or bangkok.

Any tips and advices would be greatly appreciated!

Ah hia, serious it's that long? My friend told me airport is halfway from bkk city to pattaya.. And shouldn't have problems taking a normal cab..
But if what u said is true... I better call for alternative arrangements..

For me, I will rather stay overnight in a budget hotel and travel to Pattaya the next morning. This will save me the taxis and hotel costs unless I couldn't wait to see my mm.
