Seems this thread is having a rather long hibernation as there's hardly any posting; let alone FRs recently.
Anyway I'm also among the quilty ones as I too failed to contribute anything of substance in the last couple of months despite spending quite substantial time in Jkt and Bandung.
So, here goes; albeit a short one on my last trip of the year.
After my lengthy reports on my numerous melons of LA eons ago (actually only months), I had diverted my torpedo elsewhere (Kartika, BM, Stadium, etc...) in my neverending search for fresh cantaloupes.
On the twelve of last month, I was once again in the PenJay area aiming for once again the outsized melons. The selection is not as much as before and this could probably be due to the month long holy month closure as a considerable number of chix are still back home in their village. Among the handful I spied was cute petite sexy Lilis who was one my top-rated bonks of six months ago. Those overflowing globes distinctly contoured by her form hugging T-shirt made my warrior marikita-ed immediately and it took a superhuman effort on my part not to grab her there and then. Ha ha. So the standard bearer of this thread is going on a long hiatus. During his absence, to be punctuated by an occasional fleeting sentence or two I presume, who shall keep the ball rolling? The other Jkt based SG chiongster and self-professed successor-in-waiting Middleware? Or Wonsim? Or tuition fee contributor Martini? Who will take up the cudgel, I wonder!
On my part, where time and inclination permits, I'll try to continue with my long delayed FRs of my recent trips. I have no new visits to Indo land planed till the 4th day of the Lunar New Year. That will be one long swing of Jkt, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Bali, Lampung and Medan; through to the 22nd. Anyone out there heading for these cities during that period?

I still remember many monthes back. I was at this building (It houses many pubs and disco) which is the in place for Yuppies and the Rich. They are especially crowded at weekend at Embassy Disco or I heard JAVA Lounge and the place to watch F1 or soccer is Front Row. Next to this building is a nice restaurant called Pular DUA. Nice and serene in the mid of a pond. I recommend u to have seafood here.

I have not been to the first two as they open quite late and is crowded only at weekend. However, my favorite place there is the Manna Lounge at the basement of this building. I like the décor inside. It is quiet and romantic, Elegant and a excellent place for wine and sametime biz discussion. They do have ample stock with the cheapest at Rup 250k to the most expensive at Rup 6 million….

Back to the subject, was there monthes back and notice a new KTV that just opened on the third floor of this building. As it was early, went up to the KTV to check it out. There was this bespectacled lady sitting at the counter then and I asked if I may take a look inside, her reply was NO. unless u want to book a room. So arrogant I thought but never mind.

So last night after 3 bottles of Wine with some friends from China n Singapore, we decided to check it out and so we went upstairs to the third floor. Nice place went u step in as there are about 20 gals standing there saying Selamat Malam bapak.. Wow, like a VIP. Shoik I thought but how wrong was I.

That bespectacled women the counter was actually the mummy or maybe they do not have one. So go to room and I must comment that the sofa is very comfortable. Order our bottle of Chivas and in came the lady… Look wise is only okay okay and 2 of my friend took 2 gals. The rest did not choose any as none caught our eyes.

So to singing and we notice that there were very little Chinese songs and no operator at all. We have to find own songs and first time I see the song request remote bigger then my PS one controller. At least 5 times bigger…. So we leave it to the gals to operate it. Not only were Chinese and English song too little, they were song never heard of and I guess before I was born. Was surprised to find some song from Sam Hui which was never available anywhere else. Real old. 90% Korean songs.

Back to the gals that our friend pick, they are a in between of Block M and Town in term of standard, Looks okay but completely do not know how to talk and entertain, we have to chase one out of the room as she was real boring.

Sound system is also bad and servise is the worst I saw so far. Really regret the trip and a place never to go if u are ever in Jakarta. Manna Lounge is good.

We should have gone to the Golden Crown instead basis the money we spent there. It is the same and maybe more expensive here considering they have only 10-15 rooms and nothing special.

Total bill is Rup 350k for the room, Rup 350 k for one gal, Rup 650 for the Chivas plus etc etc equal Rup 2 million.

Fuck the place as golden crown give discount for rooms somemore, gals are the same rates…. So.. Want to know more about Golden Crown……………

PS : If U are korean and looking for a Korean place. I strongly recommend Las Vegas at the basement of Landmark Building. Ten times better but hor, must book before hand.
