Hotel Memory

Heard from friends saying that If you stay in Hotel Memory, u will be given a discount when you book girls from Memory KTV. Do any bros know whether this promotion still valid now ?

Probably the memory hotel & KTV are owned by the same boss ?

Do any bros ever stayed in hotel memory before and how is the room like and charges per nite ?

Hotel Grand Palace

A few doors away from Hotel Memory is Hotel Grand Palace. My friend stayed there and commented that it is a good value budget hotel to stay as the room condition was good, water heater working, air con cold, tv able to watch many international channel clearly. However breakfast was quite simple. But the room service food which he ordered was cheap and value for money!

For room service food, I also like Hotel Lailai. Ever ordered a seafood sambal fried rice and coffee for just 38k/$5 sent to the room and was really delicious. With alot of ingredient and side dish provided, yummy.

However, the room service food of Formosa sucks. Not nice and damn expensive (charge in sing dollar somemore) (rather disappointed with a 3 star hotel standard)

Hotel Grand Palace is located only few metres away from Lucy Oar House and many other pubs. Suitable for cheongsters who love to drink and hunt for freelancers! There is a night market nearby which sells handphones too....

Location is good as it is around the central of nagoya. From there walk further down pass by hotel sari jaya and finally reach formosa within 5 minutes by walking.

The nearest pick up joint will be memory KTV. Across the road and walk further up will be goldbird and walk further down will be dynasty 99, queen8933 and new berry indah.

Skip Farmosa as their charges are often in SGD

Many small warongs outside Farmosa to have dinner and supper

Paks favorit is Mie tek tek (Indo Mie goreng) cabe (cili padi) with fried eggs which cost only RP8000 - enak banget

Why have to get a hotel like Farmosa which are near to joints when you
have paid your supir to bring you joint hunting

Joint around Farmosa hotel don have much preferred cewe therefore you
still have to hunt outskirts

Agreed that Farmosa is quite centralize but soon will be a quiet place to be

Sop buntut infront of Centerpoint is quite nice (it's the very 1st stall)

How good we treats them, she also don’t cherish. It’s a real headache!!! So nowadays, I try not to book the gal more than 2 times. Every month, I will just go round the KTVs/joints, for eg. this month Dynasty 99, next month Sedona, the next next month Memory and so on. Lower the pressure from their unreasonable demands. More fun and more relax………………………..

This is my personal experience, maybe other bros got better luck. But I doubt so in Batam. My advice is still the same. Don’t fall in love with the booking gal no matter how good or beautiful she is. In the end, you are the one who will suffer the most. You will be very disappointed and heart break. It is not the money that you spend. It is the time that you have wasted. This is the most I can say. End of the day, it is still up to individual brother to decide for themselves especially for those very young cheongsters. God bless you!!!

Wow pak, kamu pintar banget cari makanan yang enak di batam ya, boleh ajarin saya gak?

Mie tek tek cuma 8 ribu = S$1, sangat murah dong... mana bisa dapat harga yang sama di singapur ?

Last time used to cook the Indo mie (instant noodle packet )from spore and msia (very commonly sold in supermarket) and the taste was terrible. Then my friend from batam bought a box of 20-30packets of indo mie for me to cook and the taste was extremely nice (no joke), the ingredient and spice used is very unique, which differential the taste from those made in spore/msia ones. After eating all the packets, still don't get bored and craving for somemore. Any idea where in Nagoya got sell (instant noodle packet) Indo Mie made in indonesia ?

Talking about indo soup, sop buntut not really my favourite.
I love to taste the Sop Sayur Assam and Sop Rawon (beef soup) which I had it in Restoran Ria.
The sop sayur lodeh was also nice which I still can't find in Batam, any idea where to get it ?

Tempe goreng, gado-gado and Sate with peanut sauce/sweet soy sauce for snacks is awesome.

Any nice Mie Bakso and pece lele goreng (catfish) which can get around formosa area also ?
