(Time ago I asked this question here, but I got no response. So I asked around to my contacts in Batam and finally I knew. Maybe someone is happy if I share this info)

24 January 2013 is Mawlid an-Nabi.
All entertainments are planned to be closed on the eve: from 6pm 23 Jan till 6pm 24 Jan.

PS:
Last time I went to Batam it was Eid al-Adha, 26 October.
I think I have a radar: when I plan a visit, based on my work schedule, I discover I hit some Muslim holiday that makes bars to close. This happened already in my last 3 visits!
On the eve (25 Oct), all bars were closed, BUT Pacific and Newton were open instead, contrary to announcements! Probably this will happen also this time.

Most of the massage gals can be called out from their massage centres.

Altalanta has Hot/Cold pools, suana, steam room. You can relax abit first, and be served by the gals there.
