Is it true that social visit pass is easier to obtain if the girl is coming to Singapore to get married? I understand 30 day multiple trip visa is possible. I have applied twice and both times were not successful. Can any brother post link to the relevant application form for this visit pass for marriage?

there's no 'special' application form for 'marriage purposes',its the same short term visit pass.unsuccessful application might be due to the sponsor/applicant's merits.

An acquaintance managed to obtain visit pass for his girl friend and she has a 30 day multiple entry visa. She was holding the white card special pass previously and she is now able to come here because they are going to get married. If this is true, I will also apply for my girl to come here so that we can get married.

she'l nd to enter spore with a valid social visit visa,wich u mentioned it was declined twice.after wich, during her stay,u 2 then gt married & apply for her LTVP.

Is it mandatory to have household register when applying for PR for my wife? She is a PRC.

Hi guys, i have a question to ask. A FL has gotten white card when her case is close, she will be send back to her country. Will there be any problem for to come back to Singapore? be it long pass or even PR?

if she want to come back, sometimes ICA will tell the ban period, which is between 1 to 3 years

sometimes they don't

So, to get her back, write to ICA and ask, especially if you plan to marry her

For such cases, forget PR, be happy with LTVP+ .. PR can come much later

Yup, hope to marry but it is just my own thinking. So if going to marry, i should apply LTVP for her then after a few years try luck for PR? What if she is ban totally from Singapore that means we probably cant get together anymore?

if an FL is on a work permit, got caught in the act and deported immediately does this usually mean a lifetime ban ?

And what are the differences between the yellow card, white card , special pass etc mentioned by bros here ?

Recommended, LTVP - hope for LTVP + and then after few years, go for PR

As of now, ICA is indirectly telling people to go to LTVP and ask what's the urgency to get PR so soon

3 years ++ of marriage, then PR becomes easier

If totally ban, still after marriage, can get LTVP and see how it goes

Does anyone know whether a foreigner married to Singaporean and with long term visit pass be able to apply for letter of consent to work in health centre? Can health centres employ foreigners?

I don't know and can't answer.

But if the foreigner is married, go and apply for a LOC.

You never know the result until you apply
