Was at my usual haunt to enjoy before going back to Spore for my weekend break when uniformed officers came into the KTV room to check. 2 of them open the door and look inside and then left. Later ask the manager and he said those guys are from Jakarta and they are here to catch their own police (MPs I guess or something like that). Anyway, we were not doing anything hanky panky(not ye), so we were ok.

Heard that at Planet Holiday's Gravity Club, a lot of the PRC gals(abt 40 of them) up the lorry last week and now only left about 3 to 5 of them still in service.

Usually, they have tip offs, if the police are coming. Unless change in police chief, then got to be more careful, they have to play on the ball for first few months.

recently, the central govenment takes charge, so alot of happenings. Many local police small frys dare not be cocky too.

I have stayed at Batam Star. Share u my experience. Don't bother to eat breakfast coz still sleeping and too tired...free breakfast okay only. Other bigger hotel offers a better breakfast.. :P So, i sleep sleep and wake up for lunch when i stayed at B-Star..huhu..

Batam Star is near to Goodway Hotel. Ask any taxi driver, most of them should know. I always book this standand room in advance which I like, I pay Rp138,000. 3rd/4th flr will be much cheaper.
