The game with Southampton will be tricky.
Hope none of the players get injured as we have a trip to Newcastle this weekend and 2 important games in mid January 2016.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Wow what a match! Can't find the right superlatives to express my joy and excitement!!
Gosh I thought it was going to be another one of those long night's again when Mane scored in the first minute and the Reds were really being put under the cosh for the first 20 minutes. But Liverpool came back fighting and boy oh boy did they turn on a brilliant come back performance! ! Seven shots on target, six fantastic goals!! So many positives to take from this glorious match: Randall slowly grew in the game, from an awful start; Allen looked comfortable; Smith showed off a class cross for a young defender; Sturridge was back to his clinical lethal best; Ibe is a changed lad under Klopp and so too Origi who finally came into his own with a hattrick no less!! And all this without the Samba boys, Benteke etc! I would also like to say thank you very much to FSG for getting Jurgen Klopp!!! I think I can finally see the light coming out of the end of the tunnel at Anfield, happy days are here again!! Finally let me end with a witty insightful quote that I just came across on the net: "The lad Sturridge now has more domestic goals than Rooney. Not bad for somebody who lives in in a hospital." Klopps done a great job transforming Origi into a totally different player. More committed, more mobile and play more like a striker. Hope he continues the development.

if the existing players keep up their work rate, we might not need to do too much business in january

That's the difference between getting a good manager and a mid table manager . A good manager can bring out the best performance from the players . Anyway we should focus each game at a time . Home game performance need to be improved

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I think the team was caught with Southampton's heavy pressing and quick play.
They were unable to find their feet in the opening 10 to 15 minutes. This is one of the many matches which teaches us as fans to keep our faith in our team. After the 4th goal the team was playing with super confidence. That's what we need week in week out.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I thought all the 6 goals by Liverpool were world class.
That passing from Allen and Ibe. That clinical finishing from Sturridge. That power from Origi and Ibe. Is our midfield better off without Milner? I am the only one who thinks Lallana needs to improve? |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
How nice it would be if gerrard n suarez is in the team!
Anyway i find milner is not that good also,he is unable to lead the team unlike gerrard. Makes alot of silly mistakes n his passing is not up to standard.Just an average player imo.If he's that good, i am sure m.city won't release him.. |
