Re: Batam Info Thread
PART 1
As promised, here is my FR (nothing too juicy but some thoughts and what I did during my maiden trip to batam). This is written from a totally newbie perspective. So anything not correct senior bros please correct. Booked my tickets and accommodation online 1 week prior to the trip, of course with big help and reading a lot of guides from bros like nono. Went there on a Saturday morning and harbourfront centre was packed like crazy. Tip 1: if you don't like crowds, don't go on weekends. I was drawn to the crowd at level 2 and then, being a blur sotong like me, I went around to look for the horizon ferry counter. I could not seem to get to level 3 as the prominent escalator to level 3 is to that fitness gym. Tip 2: don't always follow the crowd, make sure you know what to do. When I doubt, just go to the level 1 information counter. Wasted a bit of time navigating around to find horizon ferries. Finally found it and queued to get my ticket. Horizon ferries would issue you with 3 items: the boarding pass in the form of a receipt with a QR code on it, a nicer looking ticket stapled with another receipt which shows you paid $48 for the return ticket and a white card that you need to fill in some information about your trip. The rest of your personal particulars are already filled in by their machines, you just need to fill in things like the purpose of your trip. Tip 3: Bring a pen along and Immediately keep the nicer ticket with receipt stapled on it in your bag. I think bro nono had to buy the return ticket again because this was taken away by the immigration officer as I assume it was put together with the white card in his passport. You need this to exchange for a return boarding pass upon reaching harbour bay. Then I went to change my money and actually wanted to take a quick breakfast but got no time. Tip 4: if you know you are the blur and gan jiong type, buffer 1.5 hours before boarding time. Always better to be early than late. The departure gate is just beside toast box at level 2. Went through metal detector and had to take off my phone, earpiece, watch etc... And it was a little chaotic as people are rushing to go through the metal detector. Tip 5: Keep your stuff in a small accessible bag and don't put too many small items in your pockets as you need to go through the detectors quite frequently over the trip. Save the hassle of taking out and putting them into your pockets again and again. When you get to the waiting area before boarding the ferry, you will see there are 3 gates and on the TV screens they will flash the status of the ferry (whether they are ready for boarding). When the ferry is ready to be boarded, they will also make an announcement via the PA system. As it was a weekend, the place was incredibly packed and noisy. People were queuing and many don't know which is the correct queue to take. Tip 6: it doesn't really matter where you queue. Whenever a gate opens for boarding, you will see crowd movement toward the gate. And if it is your ferry, just slowly move to the gate where the people are moving to. Queue cutting is very very common because some people just hang around near the gate and when it is time to board, they just merge into the queuing crowd. The main reason for the chaos is because there are several ferries departing just 5-10min apart from each other, so naturally people just squeeze up front and hope their ferry is called first for boarding (boarding time may not be in order). The only advantage of getting in front of the queue is you can go into the ferry first and chop seats. If you travel alone, it doesn't really matter. Just make sure you get to your gate. Another point to take note, I realised the TV screen gate info can be different from what the staff announced. So take note. So I joined the queue and prepared the boarding pass on my hand, which you need to scan at the gate. After you scanned, follow the correct berth to board your ferry. Tip 7: don't keep the boarding pass. Just hold on to it. You need to give it to the ferry staff stationed at the berth before you board the ferry. There is nothing much to do in the ferry. For me, I tried to bio some chio girls in a group going there for holidays. I think I still kena the older penguin ferry instead of the new horizon ferries. Very old inside. Tip 8: you may wish to manually set your time to the Indonesian time when you are inside the ferry, which is 1 hour earlier than Singapore time. My ferry was delayed considerably. The supposed departure time was 10:45 but I think I only managed to board close to 11:30. The ferry was slow like tortoise too initially. I think I can walk faster. So all in all, the ferry should have reached batam at 11:30 SG time but instead, it reached at close to 13:00 SG time. You will see that 15 min before reaching, a lot of passengers already cramp up to the door because they all kiasu want to go out first. Just ignore them if time is not an issue to you. You will see people running out of the door and dash to the immigration counter. Just follow the crowd and walk to the immigration counter area. Tip 9: do not make noise or use your mobile phones. There were cases last time when Singaporeans were asked to make a u-turn back to Singapore because they were too noisy. Prepare your passport and white card. You can fill in the white card while on the ferry too. The officer will tear off the arrival part on the white card. You keep the departure part of it, which would be used when you are returning. Once I got through immigration, here comes the slightly tricky part, how to get to harbour bay mart and horizon ferries counter. Hard for me to describe but at first I was totally lost after clearing immigration and going through the metal detector. You can just take the sheltered walkway as the place is under construction. When in doubt, just ask around. I am sure there are passengers/ people who know. Went to the mart to buy some stuff and then as you walk, you will pass by some coffee town shop, small coffee shop, souvenir shops etc. the horizon ferries counter is somewhere in the middle. Won't miss one. It is like the nicest looking shop there. I proceeded farther down and there is a food court where a lot of taxi drivers would be sitting there. They would automatically call out "taxi?" I just grabbed one and in no time I reached Formosa hotel. Just make sure you agree on a taxi fare first before hopping in. |

Re: Batam Info Thread
Your detailed report made me remember when it was my first time taking that ferry to Batam... Yes, not everything is obvious the first time. Now I have my SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) well established in my minds and all comes automatic, but I remember the thrill. I just wish to add two comments: 1) Change your SGD in Batam and not in Singapore (the rate will be better). Once desembarked, avoid the exchange office at Harbour Bay. Worst rates in town. Any in Nagoya will be better, but if you want to change a significant amout, the recommendation is to ask around. (I always found the best rates on the big street in front of Nagoya Hill, the last ones at left facing the mall, on the opposite side) 2) If you go on weekends, the return ferries on Sunday afternoon are packed. Be sure to make an advance reservation, or you may risk to stay. Better: on your arrival, go direct to the Horizon/Prima office and check-in for the return. This will allow you to stay 30mins more in Nagoya on your return. (I am usually very busy the last 2 hours ) |

I booked the return ticket online first before booking the ticket to batam. Both horizon staff from Singapore and batam replied to have confirmed my reservation. In that way, kind of prevent a situation where you cannot return due to no tickets. |

Re: Batam Info Thread
PART 2
Checking in was straightforward. Staff was very friendly and fluent in English. Ask them to safe keep your passport. After I put down my barang barang, checked that things are working in my room, I used my phone to view the the info which I have gotten from the forum and made my way out. I decided to go to the farther houses to see if I can get any good ones if not I would make my way back to the ones closer to my hotel. The traffic was very manageable in case any bros have concerns on walking around. The cars in general slow down when they see people trying to cross and their speeds are not fast at all to begin with, maybe 30km/h. The map may look as though the area is very big but trust me, everywhere is totally walkable. Went to a new house called paradise night, just next to good way hotel as recommended by bro metalboy at around 12:40. The quality of girls in this house seemed decent. There is no fish tank, the girls sit in 1 row directly opposite your viewing seat, distance about 2-3m only. The concept is very open. Most are SYTs or at least only in their 20s. 2 girls caught my eye, 1 with some tattoos over her body like your typical Malay ktv girl in Singapore. The other one looked like your girl next door with ample boobs. Took the latter girl and I negotiated the price to 1.1 juta. Paid the papasan in front of the girl and got his namecard too. Tip 10: Take your time in choosing your cewek. You can sit down for a few minutes and view the girls. Don't just take a quick glance and go off. You have the rights to sit down and observe each girl. If really nothing suited you, just thank the papa or mamasan, get their namecard and go off. You may not get a girl you really like but at least target a reasonable one that in a unfavourable situation, you would still take her after touring other houses. Told them I needed a taxi and they provided a free trip for me and my girl back to my hotel. I was slightly disappointed that my girl does not speak or understand too much English. That meant I had to keep translating using google translate. Reminded me of a time when I bonked this Vietnamese SYT, every single word needs to be translated. But it was not so bad afterall though. In the room, she seemed very shy and I had to initiate everything. Found out she was indeed very young and came from another part of Indonesia to come to batam and work. Round 1 started shortly, she felt like a fruit just about to be ripe. Not the most novice girl but not the most pro one. Shall not go into too much details, for juicy FRs you can read my other posts. Had bbbj, frenching, did a few positions as I watched her 36D boobs bounced up and down. My tools is a little big and could tell she was in a bit of discomfort. I could not tell if she enjoyed it as the stereo part and facial expression were mostly lacking. I lasted longer than usual and that was rare when I bonk a busty girl. We rested for a while as we got to know each other slightly better. It didn't help with the hotel wifi being very intermittent, kept getting connection error while trying to translate. We continued round 2 after 1 hour of rest. I lasted even longer this time and I had to ask her to wank me off at the end. Then she suggested we take a nap before waking up for dinner. Brought her to a place she recommended for bak kut teh. No it is not Mickey Mouse but in a food court farther away. Taxis are readily available from the hotel. Asked her to give the driver instructions and I basically left it to her to plan out the night. Went to this place called A2 food court, just beside BCS mall. The bak kut teh has a stronger herbal smell and was quite salty for those who do not like salty stuff but overall it was quite nice but it seemed like bak kut teh is a more expensive dish in batam. Next we went to BCS mall and my, It was huge! We just did some window shopping before she suggested going to the supermarket to buy some snacks and alcohol. Bought these items and some shampoo stuff for her. I didn't mind as they were so cheap. And then we relaxed at a cafe before going back to the hotel. I was quite shocked at the prices of some food items in the restaurants. The prices were quite unbelievably cheap. For example, a plate of fried rice pattaya costs only like $0.80?!? I didn't try but is it really that cheap? I initiated a 3rd round when we were back. She didn't quite take the initiative although I had to say her GFE was high as she would auto hug you and stroke you. After that it was OTOT time. She played with her phone while I watched movie and football. I still felt I wanted some more. So we did it again for the 4th time that day. It was a good idea too as the exertion of energy made me sleepy. She needed to go back at 7am so I set my alarm clock at 6am. When I woke up, I thought I could go for another round. She was initially reluctant by playfully rejecting me. But in the end still took off her top and shorts while we did it for the 5th and last time. She called her "gangster" staff to pick her up from the hotel and I tipped her 200k for the excellent service and attitude. She reminded me of cartoon from geylang brothel L8H66G in terms of service quality and attitude and even body. She is around 1.6m, and her figure was incredible and her pubic hair is scarce. Body is tight but not as tight as cartoon's. Attitude wise, very positive and accommodative but I can't help but feel the GFE did not come from the heart but from some sort of instructions from her mind but it was alright for me because she really tried hard. I asked her to check if she took everything before she left. She said yes but 15 min after she was gone, I realised her toiletries were left in the toilet. I actually brought them back to paradise night to hand over to the gangster staff and when I was back, I decided to walk to Mickey Mouse to taste the bak kut teh. My opinion is that the 2 bak kut tehs are different in style. I still prefer the local ones like songfa or the keppel road one. When I was back after my meal, I felt horny again but did not go for massage with special. Watched some porn on my phone and wanked off again. In the end, 6 shots within 1 day. On Friday, I actually bonked a Singaporean ML and an SYT PRC as well. Very very drained of sperms and vitality now haha. Rested for a while and I was off again to Nagoya hill mall for window shopping and ate at A&W for early lunch. On return to the ferry terminal, the taxi driver charged me 70k. I was unable to lower the price but it did not really matter. I just want to get to the ferry terminal early. Told me taxis going out from the hotel would be charged higher. I know this is crap but I didn't want to argue with him. I reached harbour bay way too early, 1 hour before boarding time and spent quite a long time waiting in the queue. They do not open the departure door until close to boarding time. So everyone waited outside and it was so hot and warm. Halfway waiting, a group of Singaporean uncles stood parallel to the "official" queue and were queuing up as well. Although it was very obvious where the correct queue was. As the door was about to be opened, the group of uncles inched toward the door, incurring the wrath of those in the front of the queue but they just heck care, took one look and then pretended that nothing happened. After going through the metal detector and customs again, that group was smart enough, must be really lao jiao. They purposely went out of the glass door and stood at one corner to smoke, knowing that when the guys collecting the boarding pass started to collect them, they would be in the front as well. Tip 11: everyone comes here for holidays, don't need to feel any sense of injustice if you see people cutting queues. Just relax and don't be a source of trouble. Total estimated expenditure Ferry tickets: $48 Hotel: 750,000 Taxi: 3x 50,000 (ferry centre to hotel, hotel to BCS mall, BCS mall to hotel), 70,000 (hotel to ferry centre) Cewek: 1,100,000 + 200,000 tips + 50,000 papasan tips Food: 100,000 (cd, mineral water at harbour bay), 100,000 (dinner at A2 food court), 80,000 (coffee at cafe), 70,000 (buy snacks at BCS mall supermarket), 50,000 (breakfast at Mickey Mouse 66), 60,000 (lunch at A&W Nagoya hill mall) Exchange rate: 1: 10,000 (estimate as I cannot remember but the rate was good) Total cost in SGD: $326 (rp 2,780,000 + $48) Hope there are some useful info for newbies here! Conclusion: the girl was fantastic. After I reached home, I received a message from her thanking me for sending her toiletries back. Very innocent and service oriented. I asked her what is her dream during our coffee chat, she said "for my parents to be happy". Food was good too. Hotel was decent, people were ok. However, I am unlikely going to repeat this routine often because of the planning and traveling which I find a little hassle. Still prefer cheonging within Singapore. For bros who want a mini vacation cum bonk, can consider, if not, I think Cheong in SG is a good alternative as well. Last edited by halogen019; 15-12-2014 at 07:39 AM. |

Re: Batam Info Thread
Erm, to the bro who zapped me, allow me to clarify.
First of all, I don't know how you know which bro I up the points and which bro I didn't. You mentioned that I up bros who did not deserve to be upped while those who helped me didn't get my points. Therefore I got zapped. As I can only up rep pts every 24 hours, I have to do it day by day. I intended to up pts of some bros who I got valuable info from when I am back from the trip. Of course I cannot prove it but I will do so. I am sorry if I offended any bro here. Never my intention to discredit any bro. |

Police? That is nothing. It is going to cost more, and the police wants money as well. Underworld ways is the best. But, depend on the amount of money you willing to spend. Another way is to deal with the papi/mami direct. If you know what I mean... Of cos, that's going to cost as well, if the papi and mami does not want to cooperate, there are many ways as well. Mostly cases like this, get the girl to pay back her working money DAILY, and this you need to have people looking... Mostly for punishing the gal rather than getting the money back... I mean if the sum is big, it is a different case.
