If you are confident that the identity is indeed that of the molester you should help the girl type out a chronological summary of what happened and go and make a police report. Your written statement (some more even better if got soft copy e.g. thumbdrive or memory card) will greatly help the investigating officer make a report so that she does not end up spending too long at the station. Once a Police report is filed she will be assigned an IO who should get back to her periodically the progress of the case and finally the decision on whether they will persecute.
I can understand why the boss of the place do not want this to police report to be logged, but your friend deserves to at least let the police call up this guy and have his statement taken. At this point, if he is indeed a lawyer he would know that he risks the penalties of making a false police report if he tries to be funny and will try his very best that this doesn't become a criminal case but only a civil one. What happens after that juncture will then depend on how scared he is.
All the best, bro. I hope the above helps. Don't let the fucker go off scot-free
