Actually it is not a good idea to book the ktv with the kj, reason being so is because the kj has a very less booking target compare to the managers or mummies. As such, the kj is not in the high pressure of fulfilling the target.

Where else, the penalty of the managers or mummies could go up to thousands if they fail to hit the target; in order not to face the penalty, the managers or the mummies sometimes will be more daring where they will pre-book the room even without customer. This created the situation where most of the time you cannot get the room especially during thus - sat, because all the rooms have been reserved even without customer booking.

I can’t remember what is the target for jiayi liao, but take huatai as example, kj room booking is 4 rooms with rmb4K sales target per month, if they don’t hit any, the penalty is rmb100 per room or per rmb1K sales target. But as the mummy, the room booking target is rmb60K, with every rmb100 for rmb1K sales target.
Sounds confusing???

A short summary, if both got zero booking within a month, the kj only pays the penalty of rmb400, but the mummy needs to pay rmb6,000.

Also, the managers and mummies will have more authority in term of giving the freebies.

Like our case on Monday, where I helped a friend to celebrate her birthday at jiayi, 4 managers/mummies came in 1 gave free birthday cake, 1 gave free champagne, 1 gave free red wine and another gave free snacks and fruit plates. If all these charge to the bill, that will be at least rmb500.

But the bill for the room was only RMB1068 for 5 guys on that night (without kj fee lah) (well, if I remember the figure correctly, hehe.)

Another case, today when bro Botar told me he got 3 friends who will be first time landed in cp and wanted to try the flower street before his leaving on Sunday; so I called up the manager and explained the situation, immediately I got the room number. So, we are going to jiayi tomorrow, hehe!

I am not saying that my face is big, and of course, I don’t always take advantage asking for the freebies or last minute room request, but only use the “privilege” once a while. That is how people will respect you.

Lastly, of course, if you want to sian the kj so you book the room via her, that is another story lah... that is why nowadays I go huatai so often ok...

Since you like food and MM so much, next time I'm in CP, remind me to jio you to my ancestral village Zengcheng for a most delicimo fried (or cooked in wine) country chicken (du chi). Of course, Zengcheng is world famous for its lychee.

This county is only 45 mins drive from CP. We can take a day trip there and visit the famous waterfall, and beside the waterfall is a 6 star hotel where many rich men take their gfs for a naughty time.....
