Just wondering....is Balai really worth the trip as opposed to Batam? I know Batam very well and always return home satisfied so I keep going back...but I'd be interested in some new turf if it's really worth the hassle of the extra distance and finding my way around a new place and so forth.

So tell me...what compelling reasons would I have to go to Balai or other places instead of just keep going back to Batam?

Its like working analogy. When u work at a certain place for many years n know inside out, u either make it better for urself or look for greener pastures to rekindle lost feelings that may b numbed when cheonging at tha same place all tha time.

I am sure certain magic wud have been gone or more of it that u wan which will bring up tha cost more.

Basically to each his own. Or u a stayer or a quitter phrase remember ?hehehehe. Cheers!

Ya like many I am Batam regular but want to have a change of environment. Some friends have told me that Batu, 2 1/2 hrs ferry away, is cheap and much better than BTM in terms of tranquility and nostaglia. Gals are cheap around 150 000RP booking. It is also safe and peaceful place.

Any brothers here being there care to comment on Batu?

just joking hehe, my point is sometimes the journey not worth the savings. Batu is like Singapore 20 years ago if you like quiet can try Balai not bad too

Haha is ok bro...just trying to pass my weekend with some fun...Spore is just too bring here.

Besides drinking and betting on EPL, there is practically nothing much to do here without burning a big hole in the pocket.

Ya I may try Balai havent being there before.

BTM is getting too expensive ...my damage is around $200 every time I head down to that place from Fri evening till Sunday afternoon.

:-) Yah, I think so....gotten too comfortable with only Batam. Need to venture a bit further to Balai methinks. I saw another post that said Batu is not worth the effort anymore...Balai much better. Hell, if the ferry's going to be two hours and two more back, might as well fly to Jakarata. ;-)

Ya Btm getting abit boring for me too...wanna venture out abit.

BTM attraction lies in the short ferry ride and the comfort that there are many Sporeans there.

Without the casinos life has being boring for tourists there. No wonder hotel operators have being telling me business is very tough for them.

For Jakarta the air travel time around 1h 40min, but custom claerance dam slow. Airfare will be 4.5x the balai trip another rp100,000 for airport tax when return and not included rp80,000-100,000 taxi fare to town. i find it boh wah ley

Thats one of the biggest issues that i and my grp always avoid when we chiong...these cewek issues really can sometimes turn us off and make the whole trip a nightmare.

I can understand how your friend must have felt.

Believe me i have seen many of such scenarios during all my time spend in balai, heck it even happened to me a few times too . Point is not to get too emtionally involved with those WLs...it more than often times spells trouble for us bros.

Anyway, hope to catch you this time in our May trip. April end is not good for us as some of us got some work committements to clear.

Thats why I pei fu u. Willing to organise such big group. To put in record the biggest group I had organised b4 was only 8. Thats it! And its real challenging. Unforseen circumstances like no chemistry between bros and ceweks, ensuring prompt time in the programme schedule etc etc. There was once two bros vying for the same ceweks. No joke. End of the day it would be real satisfying if everyone happy with the trip. But like they say, u cant please em all. Cheers.

Wah bro. U really budget urself with just S$200 for two nite say in Btm. How u do it? Does both nites including booking ceweks? I can never work out to that low budget cost. Share with us?

200 for btm 2 days is really very economical spending imho. Booking girls at 300K (approximate for 2 days will give you 600K liao), makan? Disco chiong? hotel? all in will easy take away 1 juta imho for 3 days and 2 nights in BTM.

For a 3 days 2 nights trip in Balai i need to spend around 400sing liao...given the fact that Balai's stuff is really much cheaper than btm...so hes really expert in controlling his expenses.

Anyway. Bro Nitecrawller its always my perogative to sort of evalauate the kakis i bring for the trips with me cause i really dont like to have situations of bros fighting over ceweks in villas or ceweks not doing their work in the rooms etc.

But even how well we can plan we cannot plan for the unseen..so when things do happen, we just take it as it comes...cant worry too much about it.

Going there to chiong and spend $ must be something relaxing and enjoyable...coming back to sillypore with a sour after taste in our mouths will mean a bad trip.

So i really hope bros who join us for balai always enjoy their trips.

*Touch Wood* that so far there has not been major incidences big enough to cause our trips to become a disaster.
