Ganesha is the son of shiva i am sure he is not as powerful as his father. Same as murugan which is what the local indians mostly worship.

Bro Suchinda, it is believed that Mahakala is just one of the many incarnations of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion/Mercy, or what we often addressed as Goddess of Mercy. In Tibetian Buddhism, Mahakala is the Guardian/Protector of the Doctrine and Dharma and it takes many forms, 2 arms, 4 arms and 6 arms. Below is some info on Mahakala and its amulets.

**Mahakala is a deity worshipped by Hindu and Buddhist. He can be seen in the entrance of every Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. He is the protector of doctrine of Buddha Shakyamuni.

Mahakala is the wrathful manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. He is one of the main deities of Tibetan Buddhism, and is considered both a meditation deity, or yidam, and a protector deity.

There are seventy-five forms of Mahakala, each with a different origin and a different name. Included among them are thirteen Six Armed Mahakalas, each with a slightly different sadhana. The Six Armed Mahakala is especially powerful in his ability to destroy or conquer enemies.

To indicate that he overcomes obstacles. Mahakala stands upon Ganesha, the King of obstacles, who has a human body, and an elephant head with an open mouth.**
