just had my circumcision yesterday. i wonder how long will it take to recover and when can i start to masturbate again? lol. the head super sensitive now man. even i wear boxers also got problem walking. guess just need to get used to it. and oh, it seems like after cutting my foreskin, my penis grew longer by hmms 2cm?

hey bros out thr who had undergone circumcision before. 1 more qn. Is it normal for the penis to feel swollen and still numb 2days after the op? Today is the 3rd day and my shaft area, below the cockhead, stil swollen !! And its feeling abit numb ! Doc say he injected anaesthetic thr but the swell will go off soon. Until now haven go down, it it normal? Pls advice fast if not later i go a&e to see doc already since its free for me.

bro, usually it will take 3-5days for the numbness to go away. but if your worried, you better see the doc otherwise you will have sleepless nights

lol. 1 week after my circumcision, there's still abit of swell. abit only. hope its okay, if not next week i go see doc. cant wait for it to recover soon. wahhh. buay tahan

still remember i done mine when i was 9 or 10 yrs old.. After the anaesthetic effect u will feel the pain especially after when i started to go home from the hospital.. I remember it took me like nearly 1 month to slowly recover.. Everyday i had to sit inside the salt water for like half an hour and soak it to reduce the pain.. I had to wear a sarong everyday and can't go out though.. I not sure whether now is it as painful as last time was like 17 or 18 yrs ago..

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post here! I am no longer in Singapore but lived there from 2004-2009. Best country in the world to live in!

Anyway, it was during my stay there that I was circumcised (at age 37). Basically I had wanted to be circumcised since a kid and bit the bullet while there.

I went to a Malay doctor on the eastside who did the procedure with a laser.

My situation was quite unique in that I was actually circumcised twice. You see I went for the procedure and was a little worried that if too much skin was removed (which is more of a risk with an adult circumcision), that things down there would be grim. So I asked just to remove a little, which he did.

I realised the result was not what I wanted so the following week, I visited the doctor again and asked if he could re-circumcise me as too little skin was removed. So he did then and there.

What I can say firstly is that circumcision is practically painless. Some of the posts here make it sound like a huge operation, but it is a minor procedure.

Both times, the only pain for me was the initial injections at the base of my penis to numb it (I was awake throughout it) and the journey home on the MRT to the Westside since the anesthetic was wearing off during the 50 minute trip.

Both times, I took one painkiller around an hour after the snip, and never took another pain killer the whole time, simply because I never needed to.
Sure there is some swelling but it really is no big deal if you walk carefully. I was back to work in the morning both times so never had MC, or really needed it.

There are two pieces of advice I want to give to all who are contemplating circumcision:

First, don’t let money dictate who you get to do it. If you can find cheap and good then that’s a bonus. But since this is a precious part of your anatomy, make sure you do your homework about who to do it, even if it means spending more than you hope to. I wasn’t on very good money when I worked in Singapore but was not prepared to find the cheapest. From memory, it cost me around 1k. I felt happy to see a Malay doctor since he had performed many circumcisions on infants, children and adults.

Second, the result you want to achieve is where as much ‘inner’ skin is retained, while as much ‘outer’ skin is removed. This is a huge issue and if the doctor refuses to accommodate you here, don’t go through with it.

The thing is that the inner skin has all the nerve endings and sensations there. Some circumcisions remove practically all of this and destroys the persons sex life at the same time. The inner lining needs to be kept. I was fortunate the doctor listened to me in this and removed mostly outer skin, and so the sensitivity has been kept intact.

Keeping the inner skin is mostly possible if the doctor uses a freehand style for the circumcision. If he wants to use a clamp, chances are he will be removing equal amounts of inner and outer skin – something you don’t want!

Since the circumcision, I have to say I enjoy my appearance a lot more. It is much cleaner, never any smell and in bed I last longer with my girl friend.

It is true that the glan (head) does get less sensitive, but this is not important since it is the nerve bundle in the inner lining of the skin which houses the pleasure receptors and why I stress you gotta hold on to these.

And its true that for about 5 weeks, it is hard since you cant masturbate etc. But just plan for that time to occupy yourself with other things which dont create temptation etc.

Honestly, you will be glad you got it done!

To all already circumcision bros and i need help here.

i'm already 36 tis year and went for circumcision 9 days ago at SGH.

As memtion it already pass 9 day since my cut i face some problem here which i need all ur input here.

When i try to full erect this morning (dun ask me how lar he..he..) i found that
i can't fully erect as in it very painful! Is tat normal?

My whole penis dosen look very nice too like those pron star. it like the skin still cover the top part of the glans. Is it because of the stiching around?

My glans also very dry and cos skin to peel off. Is it normal?
