not sure about cheonging.. but ya.. Oz smart traveller web says "take extra caution" for bali visit. ... i know this becoz i had to fill up form explaining my reason to visit bali.

There is a club called Mbargo or M8go (pronounced embargo) that is very popular with Singaporeans. If you want to score with Jap/Korean chicks, visit the club near the popular Bungee Jump place, can't remember the name of it. Otherwise, visit the local supermarkets!!! spotted a group of Jap girls when I was there during the december period but was hindered by the OC's presence

The Jap chicks like fit looking dark skinned or tanned boys. They do not go by nationality so it does not matter whether you are a local boy, Singaporean or Westerner. As long as you can show your 6-pack, tanned and give them the promise of a good night ahead.... they will bed you

Some of the bolder guys even have the cheek to ask for "tip" the next morning.

I am a malay and I have been mistaken as a local boy on several occasions by these tourists.

When I was there the security presence ws already high especially at the places where the AngMos patronize. The hotel which I stayed in have a high percentage of AngMos guest so that's why in the lobby are rifle toting policemen on duty.

I'm experienced in the best places to pick up.

One comment - Bali is very safe.
I have been coming to the place for decades and never felt that safety was a problem.
Try Barcelona or Prague if you want to get hassled by pickpockets and the like.

One comment on freelancers.
Skygarden is by far the best place to go, and wait till after 1 pm or so and their prices are lower.
Remember to bargain and of course use CD.
Sex with anyone (FL, regular girls etc) is always a risk.

The policemen on duty at the lobby wun bother you as they leave everything to the hotel security. They are there as backup. The girl that you bring back must have her id with her and register with the security counter at the lift lobby. As long as she is legit should be no problem.

That happens every now and again in Bali and then things slide again.
Like in Phuket, police try and enforce earlier closing occasonally yet it never seems to last long
