Nope, dear sis...don't get it wrong...it's not tat you are the only girl who is naive as you say you are about this...most Gfs, it seems trust their Bfs a lot, sometimes to the extent of like being married to them...but even between married couples, there hv been some instances in the past of husbands passing on such infections to their wives...so the key is really to know yr bf/husband well enough & when in doubt take the necessary precautions when taking part in sexual relations or situations wif him like bbbj etc..tat exposes u to risks of such infections..
but of cos, in normal situations, if the bfs know they are infected, i m sure they will not knowingly want to pass on their infection to their gfs if they truly love them...problem is, sometimes during the heat or passion of the moment, they may be unable to control their urges & let it carry on when they know at the back of their minds tat they shouldn't...or maybe sometimes they don't even know themselves tat they are infected until they go for testing...& tats why guys esp those who hv multiple sex partners are often urged to go for STI testing regularly to rule out the possibility of any infection to themselves...btw, sis there is a law if i m not mistaken tat says HIV infected persons must inform their partners 1st for consent b4 engaging in sex wif them..it is a law tat is intended to help control the spread of STDs in the population..so don't worry, you are still well protected by law at least if nothing more

...hope this helps to clear yr doubts, sis..
