Seriously I admire threadstarter's spirit......last time when I was in NS living on the subsistence service pay I also had alot of innovative ideas to cut cost when cheonging Thailand....I mostly save on the airfare by travelling as onboard courier or even going by tour bus or rail but now with budget airlines it's not feasible to go this way.....try to search for a dirtcheap hotel (motel), I ever stayed in one for B$250 per nite in Pratunam.

Seriously I think it is impossible to cheong BKK decently with 1000 dollars. Even 1000 cash for spending for 5 days trip is not enough much less you need to pay for air ticket and hotel room. I suggest you cheong Batam instead if Indo not your cup of tea then stay in Singapore go GL houses book overnight, your 1000 can last you 7-8 nights of booking.

If not going for action everyday I think his 1K can last longer lar.

Last time I went there, 3rd nite my little bro half dead liao (due to day time walk here walk there site seeing n not enough rest), the gal have to hj me out, luckly she good service, no rush, else dun think I can make it. 4th day just go agogo sit at rainbow 4 n watch, then 5th day go one final round around noon before coming back.

Something I going to do on my next trip (will be mid of Oct), try to either stay near the chiong place or make sure the hotel u stay can bring guess back without paying extra.

Also the Taxi driver will ask for a lot more after midnight if u going back to hotel from places like Nana. of coz if you got gal togather, let the gal talk, will be much cheaper.

Eat at the road side is good n cheap, and I like the tea from 7-11, damn it, can't get any from singapore.

At least visit the agogo bar once lar, just buy 1 drink, sit there and enjoy. Many ang moh also do the same, sit whole nite maybe only 2-3 beer nia, of coz I dun ask u do the same. take note u might want to give tips to the one serve u the drink also ler, so the cost might not be 120B lor.

I not a good drinker, but the beer is cheap, should buy back and drink at hotel room, thus if u get drunk, u will go sleep and save $$ on bonking. lolz.

If I can make it there by mid Oct and able to met up with some bros from here, I will buy a bottle from DFS, u guys just need to top-up the mixer
