For afternoon, bars opening 3pm or so maybe stretch around ABC hotel.

The noise at d bigger bars sometimes gives me a headache...

How easy (or sensible) to get a prepaid internet micro sim card for Iphone/Ipad in AC, with validity few days? Just curse of staying connected work (and private including sbf). Off to cherry trip tmrw, and hotel's only wifi is in lobby area.

Tht shd suffice honestly.

Coz wen ur inside d bars d signal strength is pretty weak. My experience...

Especially d small bars....

So just use the hotel wifi.

But if u really need internet on d go then u can get the sim with net package.

Should be available at JJ(in front of)

If u need micro sim u would need to visit the office... At SM

Bro yy,microsim is not easy to get even when I went to the main smart counter in sm mall they say not avaiable?u can get a regular sim card(40peso) and they cut into microsim for u(50peso) at sm mall or the stretch along jj supermarket near feilds have the sim cutting service avaiable.

Enjoy your cherry filippine trip,who knows u may fall in love & switch your playground from then.

RB, great stuff. AC's cherry, been to Manila couple (business), Cebu (weekend sneak out) and Baguio eons back. More familiar with siam menu, but maybe this is missing sauce hehehe

The vendor has the right to charge higher. Usually its because of a special or Golden Number. Anyway its also practiced in Singapore.

I been back to Singapore since Feb 3 and have been busy driving my taxi and earning what I can. I do check on this thread almost every hour and nowadays I let the others answer queries since they are doing a good job.

Once you got your Smart Buddy sim working in your IPhone, you send a txt LTU50 to 2266. You get 3 days free all network sms n 20 minutes Smart calls and of cos 3 days of internet capped at 50Megs. Deactivate loading of pictures and you will be ok with 50Megs.
