There have been numerous clusters, some were not detected due to the early days, that were due to other social factors. Do you honestly believe no one got covid from public transport? a 30-45 mins ride sitting next to an infected person is longer than you getting a HJ from a ML. People have not gotton covid from eateries? Or shopping centres? Anyway this is ML/FL thread, not a KTV thread, the dynamics are not the same. Unforunately, like Mr Ong said, you stay at home, the virus will find you. So in other words, no way to help. With the lock down, either 1, there are more babies or 2, there are more divorces and breakups and probably cheating as well. At least with these options, no 2 might be reduced, that's my 2 cents view

sorry but disagree with you here buddy...
what you are saying is more apples and oranges... no doubt it is possible that you can get infected with Covid in any public settings... but I think the risk is generally lower compared to a ML/FL and ktv setting for obvious reasons... Quote:

Just finished lunch at OT with some colleagues.. As we took the escalators across the 4 floors... We saw 6 SDAs.. All in pairs walking simultaneously on each floor.
On first floor were a few people with badges around their neck, plain clothes, male and female with phones on going thru documents while talking to another pair of SDAs. Couldn't hear their conversation but they were pointing up to the various floors making reference to their documents. Given the recent KTV cluster issues... I think we will see some more enforcement taking place.

No one knows if the utensils are clean, or the people serving you are not infected. The ktvs were stopped for 1 year because of the case study from Hongkong. You do not think that the government would have shut things down in all massages if they had the same statistics? I am not pro massage or anti. I am pro facts. If clusters are found in many of any activity, it should be shut down. But we do not need self logic to help in creating fear mongering statements that is backed by nothing than personal logic

To me Massage parlors still much safer than KTV as generally customers take showers and its a one to one situation, not big groups.
Both massage girl and customers supposed to wear mask throughout (in theory)but difficult to enforce 100% behind doors. However the situation can be improved with example weekly swaps of the massage girls and allowing only registered staff to work

I am not anti ML, anti FL nor anti KTV per se...and I am definitely not into fear mongering either...
But due to Covid and the nature of Covid and its never ending variants...all 3 of the above are definitely of a higher risk than normal public settings...don't need stats to back me up on this one, just plain and simple logic based on how Covid spreads...btw when I allude to ML I mean the hanky panky type where both parties remove masks at a minimum, I assume this is the common practice at OT?....same for KTV... The p to p (unknown individuals) close direct contact is far greater...rate of vaccination(not sure?)... is the TT procedure being properly complied with ?...also those who get infected under these circumstances, how many would go get tested? How many would even know they are infected(asymptomatic)?... Quote:
