I think when parent divorce,kids are the ones suffered the most.......i was once almost the victim here thus i know the feeling of going through that process.Therefore up today,i remind myself once married never never divorce.

Hmmm... gotta give that some thought and balance out if getting a 3G phone is worth it. I use Skype now but have not installed webcam features. Also, it is not Skype per se but Skype out where I pay credits to call land or mobile lines.

Sometimes marriage is more for convenience and also for other reasons like finance, shotgun, etc.

Totally agree with this. I made the mistake and the kids should not pay. I subscribe to the notion that what you don't know won't hurt you (for now at least). The only way for me to keep being sane in the marriage is to have some ECAs on the side... though as I go through the motions, the appeal of ECAs are diminishing somewhat.

I guess I would condone being safe even if you have flings. Safe meaning extra safe.

Personally, I have given up on commercial sex for the very reason of STDs and how the family could be physically affected. I opt for rub n tug at paid joints when the need arises. Nevertheless, have yet to reach the level of safety by insisting on a rubber for HJs.

As for flings, my only current squeeze is the same one I had for almost a decade... way before I got married and the person I am having a 'real' relationship with. But you never know, as said, she could be playing the field behind my back. Anyway, my frequency of full blown sex has been limited due to fear of diseases ever since I had kids to think about. Limited exposure to sex with both the wife and my squeeze (both protected) would probably lessen any risk. The price to pay for this is that as long as the thought of disease is lurking, the libido somewhat drops... subconscious and conscious.

As what they say... Decisions are made emotionally, the logical reasoning behind every emotional decision comes only after that when you try to convince yourself what you are doing is right for you. ie. there could be no logic to any madness even if we think so.

If I remember correctly, pre-nups are not valid in the Singapore courts. This could possibly only be an option with bros living overseas.

Totally agree. Do whatever it takes to stay married and shield the kid from any unhappiness that you are feeling with the wife. It's difficult but not impossible.

Maybe you should consider a job posting you our of the country. A new environment may help reinvigorate things, be it matters with OC or your ECA...

And I totally agree with your sentence "I subscribe to the notion that what you don't know won't hurt you"... Cannot let OCs know about cheonging, otherwise hurt them right???

I was working out of the country for a while but have returned as I wanted to spend more time with the kids. The time away has displaced me somewhat with the OC and also the kids.

Its actually quite a dumbass theory... not much different to the concept of an ostrich which sticks its head into the sand at the 1st sign of danger. Unfortunately, much of my married life has been based on dumbass theories.

Hurt? Not too sure if hurt avoidance was really the main reason. I'm debating this with myself if it was hurt or just not wanting to face up. Meanwhile... still looking for more tips and tricks.
