Wa...I just came back from my 4D3N trip in Bangkok. After reading your FR, I immediately booked my ticket to Bangkok again but will be heading to Pattaya next month.

I was there during end May when the red shirts protest was about to end.
Pattaya has got lot more AGG bars, more colorful nightlife, more naked girls dancing to see, low drinks prices. (Rainbow bars in NEP are charging 145THB for a Heineken and they charge same price for a glass of Coke as well), low ST/ LT rate, accomodation also so much cheaper. The only con is there are a lot of crazy angmohs.
