Nope. Dr BC Ng is an aesthetic clinic. So non claimable. However, the cost is worth it. Just like previous brother said, he is experience. He did a high and moderate cut for me. When erected, no skin covering and cut line is about 1 inch from the crown. When flaccid, 1/3 of head is covered. Well, have not had sex yet coz I want to let it recover fully. I remember I posted some questions here before, I had phimosis then. But the thought of surgery scared the shit or rather cum out of me. Some bros mentioned they did the stretching of the foreskin etc. and that's what I did.

Whenever I have the chance, I will stretch my foreskin bit by bit, even when I'm going to pee. When I bathe in warm water, I will try to stretch it even more. When I pcc, I will try to pull even more and when cum, I let the cum remain in the surrounding area between the glans and the foreskin. I read somewhere that our semen has natural lubricant? And just after pcc, I can actually pull the foreskin to reveal half of the glans! Which was exciting. Loads of sensations never felt before. Another thing that helps while you stretch is a topical steroid cream. You can easily get Hydrocortisone 1% without a prescription from the pharmacy.

Be careful not to stretch too aggressively as this can lead to fissures in the foreskin and the fissures could get infected.

Just for everyone's interest, there is a painless non-surgical way of doing circumcision called Prepex. Basically a rubber band is applied on the foreskin until the skin dies off then it is cut off just like dead skin. You can see the video on how it is done on Youtube.

I wrote to the company to get this into Singapore however they replied that their technology is only for use in Africa. What a shame.

I saw prepex surgery demo on internet, this will be really blood less and cheap....However in my opinion the most of the inner skin will be removed as well. This means you will never get high and tight cut.

I mention this before, the type of circumcision is very very important to enjoy sex and also pleasing appearance yet clean also.

Yes completely agree with you. As with all things, there are pros and cons. The Prepex technique is bloodless and cheap but it gives very little control over how much and where is cut.

From my discussion to the Urologist who do a lot of circumcisions, their input is if you leave behind the frenulum, you retain a lot of sensation.

In other words, for people who suffer from premature ejaculation, removing the frenulum actually helps as it desensitizes the penis.

I wonder if this is what you mean by leaving behind the 'inner skin'.

Hi all....i just had a circumcision and frendulum removal op 2 weeks ago..all is recovering well. Although it does get very itchy at times and the stitches are all still there. The specialist said when i bathe, i can rub it with soap and the stitches should drop out.. I dont really dare to rub too hard and it seems tt the stitches are still not coming off by itself. He told me to leave it for another 2 wks. Any idea when it will finally come off by itself?

Also, as u know there is no skin covering the head now, the meatus is exposed and my underwear sometimes seems to somehow accidentally gets stuck in the "lips". Its quite painful and i gotta go to the toilet to adjust it again. Not sure if anyone has the same experience and how u solve this prob.

Here's my story.
I've always had trouble pulling back my foreskin when it's fully errected. Never thought much about it as my hornyness would push past the discomfort and i'd just continue having sex. However, as i got older, i find the pain more pronounced and i would suffer ED while i'm in the middle of sex! This started to psychologically affect me and there were times i could lose the errection just as i'm about to enter the girl. Resorted to using cialis or viagra just so that wouldn't happen. The doctors that prescribed me the meds recommended me to go for circumcision.

So i finally plucked up the courage and went for it. However, decided to go the budget route. Went to a polyclinic and got a subsidised referral. Made an appointment with CGH a month and a half later with a urologist and scheduled my surgery this morning.

Surgery went fine. Head's sensitive to touch now. I don't really feel any pain but just discomfort as its now completely exposed. Its no joy whenever the head touches anything!
I still don't feel any pain from the wound itself and am dreading it when it comes. Fortunately, i see no bleeding on the bandage (so far) and i hope it remains that way. Doctor says i can remove the bandage tomorrow when i shower and theres no need to re-bandage again.
All i got was penadin as painkillers and antibiotics.

Guys, when does the pain from the surgery come? When does it peak? and how many days does it last?

All in all it cost me

38 dollars for my first appointment
Can't remember exactly how much the surgery cost as it was fully paid by medisave but i think its about 300?

Oh and i see many advising to avoid coffee.. Why ah? Its one of the very few pleasures i have left after i gave up smoking..given these few days i can't afford an errection too :|

Day two and i just took a shower. Removed the bandage. It actually looks pretty neat. No obvious swelling but i can see the stiches. Still getting used to the uncomfortable feeling with the exposed head is touching cloth, but its not so pronounced like yesterday. So while i'm doing the duck walk, there's actually no pain still..i'm more than a little surprised. I thought this would hurt like the devil..beginning to wish i had done this sooner. There were girls i managed to sweet talk to sleep with me, except I failed to perform (as i didn't have cialis or viagra on hand to marikita past the pain) ..Needless to say, I never got the chance to bring them back with me again..

i dont have any medical condition
just dont like the loose excess skin
however i have not heard from my doctor abt the different type of cut
frenulum, tight or loose cut etc

is there anything i should be asking the doctor? can i pick the type of cut?

If you don't like the "looseness" of your foreskin, I would get it cut high and tight. That keeps the inner, more sensitive skin, and you have no feeling of looseness anymore - good luck with it!

okay just had my cut last tue at sgh

on the day of the surgery i request to speak to the doctor before the real thing begin, but i was already all prep up , lying on the bed and had the IV mount injected into my hand already

doctor came and i ask him what kind of cut will i be getting, since i read online i think i prefer a high and loose cut

to my surprise he said what he perform there is a standard cut
he is not aware of any intentional cutting that can place the scar line high or low. of cos , i naturally explain what i read online

so the doctor told me the point abt circumcision is to cut the skin and expose the head, it may not be a good idea to retain too much skin. as having an partial circumcision can develop into other kind of problem, like excess skin harden etcetc

i reminded him that i cut mainly for hygiene purposes , what i read is that inner skin have the most nerve and is what is most sensitive, and such i would prefer to keep as much of inner skin as possible

knowing that , the doctor explain to me what he does, he will pull the skin all the way back, and will cut the excess from the back while leaving enough skin for erection and stitch the wound up.

so i paraphrased him , so whether my scarline/cut is high or low will depend on how much i can pull back my inner foreskin .

he said yes, and as such what technique will be use , will be decided when i am in the surgery, after he pull back the skin.

he told me i can still change my mind and not have the surgery , but wth its all prep up and i am pretty confident my cut will end somemore mid or high. cos i already can pull my skin all the way black till flat

1st and 2nd day of recovery was hell

i forget that i am suppose to wet the gauze when removing it
instead i very slowly pulled the gauze , which in turn pull the wound which clog into the gauze.

oh mine, i stretch my frenulum fair bit
i gave up on the gauze they gave me and i use cotton wool instead. the cotton wool end up sticking more instead and again i stretch my frenulum the 2nd day while i am outside going for my dermatology appointment, i drip 2-3 drop of blood from my frenulum, oh my boy, everytime i change my wound and see blood drip off i have dizzy spell and want to faint LOL eventually i end up with simply warping with toilet paper, and it somehow work wonders

thankfully bleeding stop at 3rd day, tmr is the 6th day, i called their ambulatory hotline cos i decide to have my frenulum checked. shall update..

Yours sound bad. I sat in a tub of water soaking the dressing and slowly, very very gently peeled it out. No bleeding. This was done on my second day..
