I for one have been to Nigeria last year. Seriously despite the fact that my friend told me that there are many chinese there, I did not really see much. Nigeria, Lagos is a very expensive place and all things associate with chinese is expensive.

Althought there is a China Embassy in Lagos, will seriously discourage anyone one going there. You don't exactly say police on the streets carrying AK47 as safe. Furthermore most house or hotels security carry AK47 too.

There is so many place to make money, why bother going there.
