Stomp contributor traffic_eyes witnessed a driver trying to evade a fine for parking illegally by behaving aggressively towards a traffic warden.

The driver had parked his car on a zig-zag line along a road at Yishun Central and blocked his car's licence plate when the traffic warden tried to take a photo of the vehicle.

The driver's friends also helped block the car's licence plate but later fled when the traffic warden called the police.

The contributor elaborates:

"On November 26, at about 12.15am, a traffic warden arrived at Block 925 Yishun Central to carry out his duty along the main road near a coffeeshop (there is a carpark which can hold more than 200 cars on top of the coffeeshop).

"All the drivers fled when they noticed the blinkers from the traffic warden's motorcycle.

"When the traffic warden wanted to take pictures of the white car in the photos, the owner of the car who was wearing a white T-shirt stood at the back of the car to block the licence plate.

"5 or 6 of his friends stood at the front of the car to block the front licence plate."

The contributor added that the traffic warden maintained his cool even when the driver raised his voice and scolded the warden for being disrespectful to him.
