AFA's Anonymous HIV Testing

Went for a test at their mobile testing service recently and was surprised that it was so cheap and simple.

They have testing service almost everyday.

More importantly, it anonymous.

I was educated on PEP offered by DSC, and the whole course of treatment was less than $200. The downside is that any dealing with DSC would probably not be anonymous. Then again, if any blood test is done, I doubt the result would be positive, as one need to seek treatment within 72 hours of exposure. And upon the completion pf the treatment, one can always choose to go for anonymous testing.

Edit: After checking DSC's website, the cost of the treatment is around $550.

Still a lot cheaper than private practice. I was quoted $2000++ for the one mth PEP treatment, including HIV test, liver,kidney function tests, plus treatment dosage. But it's fast and hassle free and an ease of mind, good for those with cash to burn...

yeah, other than fast and private, it's also anonymous. but knowing that there are cheaper alternative, people who had been exposed might be more willing to seek treatment immediately.

I've gone for AFA testing before, even though I'm considered extremely low risk for HIV. Very professionally run and I didn't feel awkward. Highly recommended to test there.

Yup agree they are good and professional when I went to their clinic for std testing.
