Today's news showed the whole ship hull demagnetization procedure photos.
It means quite final of all the fittings, and no further radars antennas / cable / machineries / weapons / parts to be further added.
Adding any further significant metallic or magnetic or electrical items will again modify the total magnetization properties, hence, they will only demagnetize the warship when they are sure nothing further to add.
The demagnetization prevents excess magnetic properties to trigger magnetic sea mines and other tactical sensors.

The next thing is the sea trial and acceptance test by PLA, before shipyard hands over to PLA.

In the yard there are 2 other carriers including one more 002 and a first 003 carrier which is nuclear power and electrical aircraft launching and recovery catapults.
