Hi bros.. just wanna ask.. how to check or what does it mean by swollen lymph node?

Hi,
Just touch the side of ur neck to see if any part is swollen. A sign of swollen lymph node is uncontrollable shivering of the hands, sweating and feel lethargic. Correct me if i m wrong.

Does the swollen should feel any pain?

a bit when you position it at an angle. almost feel like muscle age at the joints.

Nopz not all swollen lymph nodes would show signs and if the lymph nodes is very swollen or you notice that it's getting more and more swollen pls see a doc and have a check cause my dad had a swollen lymph nodes (without showing any sign) on his neck and was diagnosed with cancer.

Not really.. just wanna know how do i see a swollen lymd node so can keep alert of any symptoms....

But to clarify.. if i do have a swollen LN... it will be obvious right? Would i need to press or feel around to notice or it will be obvious?

One of the way i know to check.
Press on the area using your index and middle finger, apply slight pressure on it and pull downwards if you can feel it's lumpy lumpy that means it's your lymph nodes.

wooh my old man had the same thing too...that was way back in 70 when he detected the swelling around his neck..it wasn't very obvious just a slight swell..went for radiation treatment and that little swelling soon became a hole in the neck..the damn hole bigger by the month and it was big enough for a fist to go in...believe me i was only a 10 year old kid but was helping him in changing the dressing...blood would ooze profusely out from the neck...a few months before he died, he actually took pictures of the damn hole..damn if you had seen his photos... you would never believe that the picture is one of a 33 year old man!!!

I had that problem in my neck a few years back ago. Woke up one day and found it in my neck. Felt very very tired and weak. Went to the doctor and gave me antibiotics. Felt ok after a few days.

Bro can you elaborate how was it etc etc... no idea my neck nowadays feels "fat" ..not really lump or what.. but whole neck feels fat... or maybe i'm gaining weight.....

Armpit got a pimple.. duno is cause of hygiene or

if u run your fingers along the side of your neck, it feels something like a string of soft beads on your neck vertically. It's like pressing on a tight tendon with the additional soft beads. It's feels very sore.
Better go see a doctor. It could just be a simple case of inflammation just like mine.

Lymph nodes on neck. One on each side just under the jaw. Put thumb and first finger in v shape under jaw to locate lymph nodes at end of thumb and finger.

Lymph nodes usually swollen due to infection (eg mouth, ear, throat region). Symptoms: fever, pain, headache, sore throat, cold etc.

Two types of infections: viral or bacteria. Antibiotic can only cure bacteria infection.

Rarely cancerous. Bad cases: lung, throat, nose, ear cancer .

Suggest see doctor for nodes sizes of 2 cm, temperature etc for treatment.

bro does your hand tremble when you hold them out..sweat in the night....becos these are some of the signs of thyroid...
