The one I saw doubled a few times but less than the previous "dragon"..and reduced back to his normal bet, and tried again when he thinks the next "dragon" is coming. Think it also depends on trend and feel..

As you mentioned, "greed" is something a gambler needs to control..but sometimes not easy leh..
