Hi bro, as I m based here in China, most of my pay and claims go back to my SG account and my PRC account not enough to support my daily expenses and other needs..
Withdrawing from cirrus atms will have 5 SGD bank interest rates and remmitance also got 20 SGD interest per transaction.. So I m still looking for any bank which offers free transfers from SG account to PRC account..
Any advice to offer..
HSBC got free country to country transfers but i think they only offer to those premier accounts of 100K USD..
ebonkie,
i have idea for you, of coz must be based on mutual trust.
find a SG bro who gets paid in RMB and direct swap with your SG$ every month (using xe.com exchange rate). it's a win-win situtation for both.
but i agree, the less Maos you have the better it is. the more you have the faster you spend.
if invest, must be very very careful. otherwise get burnt easily. property wise, the quality that you get over here is questionable. finding the right time to flip is the key.

whenever i get back sgp, it's char kway teow, wonton mee, prawn noodle (dry or soup), char siew rice, satay etc.....
the only way to pay less taxes is to increase your tax deductible component hopefully you can drop below certain tax bracket.
can't believe the amount of income taxes i've paid over the last few years. worst still, my CPF is all used up back home and i've got to top up my own CPF.
I was posted to shanghai by my ex company, so quite blur that time.
After working for awhile, realize the actual cash received in my bank every month was actually not much but yet have to work harder than in Singapore.
You are right on increase the tax deductible. But most MNC dont help you to invade tax. However if u give them a good reason they might accept.
When I move to my current company, I told my gf will moving to shanghai so I need to stay in a bigger apartment. This also sort of gave them an assurance that I would still be working here for longer term.
My actual rental is only half of my allowance, but I get fa piao for my full housing allowance and I pocket the rest after I pay my rent. Of course I need to pay the 5% tax on the difference in order to get the full amount fa piao.
Then I told them that in Singapore CPF is our pension scheme, so I request them to buy saving insurance for me about same amount as Singapore employer share, so when I leave china 1 day, I can cancel my policy and get back the money. Depending the duration I keep the policy and the market situation, I might made some interest or lose some admin charges up to 5%.
meal allowance I think it's also tax free, but I didn't get any.
Thats all I know about how to increase tax deductible. Not sure got other method or not, maybe others can share more.
Totally agree with guys who suggest to keep the Mao and invest. No point sending back the money, need to find ways to invest to fight off inflation if not the value of the in the bank will inky decrease
Doesn’t seem to be many outcall places from looking through the SH thread. Wasn’t in the mood to wander out and came across Sophia’s website from another site so decided to give her a call.
A nice voice on the phone, not perfect English but good enough to understand what I wanted. Make it clear to her that I would send away anyone I didn’t like. She recommended to give Ming Ming a try. She indicated Ming Ming would arrive within 30 minutes and 20 minutes later there was a knock at the door. Damn, being a boob man, I was not sending this one away!
Name: Ming Ming
Age: 19
From: Dongbei
Looks: 8, looks young & sweet, sounds like a newbie
Cup: 38A!
Body: Proportional except for the huge tits
GFE: 9, kissing, hugging, all around good feeling
FJ: wet, tight, enjoys DATY
BJ: tries hard, suction sound, my eyes were dazed with her boobs bobbing all over the place
Damage: RMB 1000
Overall a very good session and we gave each other a nice long hug before she left. Sophia mentioned Shanghai is more expensive than Beijing for outcall. But so far quality seems to be more impressive than Beijing as well.
I tried this number and seems got disconnected. I guess no matter, website still worked and there was a new number (13488676516) listed. I got through and Sophia said she lost her phone so had to get replacement instead. Based on this recommendation I asked for Ming Ming, but she was not available - that time of the month. So I asked for someone cute young and good service, and Lan Lan arrived about 10 minutes later than expected, but she said something about taxi not finding the place. I purposely complained about it a bit and she promised to make it up to me. And boy did she ever! Routine was not too crazy, BJ followed by FJ mish then doggy, but she gave me that GF feeling that typically I don't get with someone the first time - felt so good blowing load inside her, capped of course! Even though time ran a bit longer but she didn't rush out the door, still chatted some before leaving. Gave her 1200 total so she will remember me the next time!
Shanghai is not new to you. We met at least 5 years back when we played in Shanghai then. I will look you up when I am up there.
Master,
I can't believe you still remember me good memory you have. Where are u base at now? Make sure you look me up when u are here. I will PM you my number.

you don't really have to go through the proper channel to remit money..millions can be done via other creative ways..
Bro, I know that there are lots of bro bringing out cash when they fly back. Officially there is a limit of 30K RMB per person, if I remember correctly. This is slow and tedious unless one kar kar hoot and run the risk of getting caught.
Then I know of people who would tongpang their visitors to help them bring back. But how much can one bring back? Very tedious affair when you have alot to get it out.
Asking local PRC to help get the money out is yet another way. With the liberalisation, each of them has USD50k allowed every year to bring out. Would you trust them?
I also know that there are people who would give their RMB to somebody [recommended by friends etc] and that somebody would arrange an agreed S$ amount to be credited in your bank account in SG. This is based on trust which I won't do since I don't know the counterparty well.
Finally, I am aware of folks who would arrange to meet up with the counterparty at the bank counter. I bring my RMB and he brings the agreed amount of S$ or US$, I would bank in the RMB in his account and he will bank in the foreign currency in my multi currency account in Shanghai of the same bank, same branch, same time. So on the spot, my account got credited by the S$ and his account got credited the RMB. These people typically need the RMB for their biz. But I could not find lobang for this one. Any bro can share any such contact.
Bro holein1, pls share with us the other creative ways you have. If not convenient, kindly PM me. Thank you very much! Am desperately looking at safe ways to go around it without having to go thru that troublesome SAFE (State Admin for Foreign Exchange). You should be able to guess the amount to worth the trouble.

Eh Bro DTCEPL, great advise? Up me leh. Kum siah. You went to Sweet Town oredi? I haven't got time to visit the Good Place yet. I also worried about the tub cleaniness. Do they put plastic sheets over the tub (like when you go for the foot massage, they have a plastic sheet that covers the tub for you to soak your feet) when you use it or what?

Bro ebonkie, try to estimate the amount you need to spend in Shanghai to reduce the hefy bank charges. Drawing from the ATM is really not worth. Besides the horrendous exchange rates you get but cannot control, you will also be charged transaction fee like in OCBC 3% - min S$5 and max of S$20 per transaction.
Expensive lah. S$20 = RMB100. Two of these transactions (RMB200) can go for a normal good oil massage leh. I know of a place that give you 150 minutes (yes, 2.5 hours) of oil massage (HJ included) and foot massage for RMB 238! Warning, it is not so close to the city area. But it is within the middle ring road, Pudong and there is not many SYT - only 2 pretty ones. The rest I no want. Anybody keen to know this place?
The other way is to bring in RMB to Shanghai whenever you are back SG. Money changers in SG seem to give better rates than the banks. You may want to refer to this weblink to find out where you can get good rates from money changers in Singapore if you are changing big amount to bring over: http://sammyreviews.store/showthr...92972&page=247
A third way is to swap your money with bros here.
Yes, HSBC premier account holder can transfer $ between their own accounts [i.e. SG & Shanghai or worldwide accounts] free. But you still need to change your S$ into RMB and HSBC generally don't give good rates. Local banks [they all used the same exchange rates quote I think] tends to give better rates. That is my experience so far. Pls correct me if I am wrong.
BTW, that not very tall SYT receptionist at the HSBC Premier LJZ IFC looks very sweet leh. Wish she is bonkable. Have been trying to act blur each time I go there. Ask her alot of stupid questions to get to know her better and just hanging around there, ogling her even though she directed me to take a seat inside for my cup of tea ha ha. A typical hum sup man ... what else? I am hopelessly sex up
Pls up me if you like my post. Leave your nic and I will return favor.
