how about you? hows everything?
think now u spk better TV than me roi...hjhj....
Hmm, since your son is going to be 2 years old, that means we know each other nearly 2 years roi, I remember I attended your baby full month party, and saw those beautiful decent vietnamese ladies (your guests). Those were the days.
I also attended my firend's baby party in HCM,VN this year, again with beautiful decent local vietnamese ladies around (his guests).
Now everything is fine, no longer cheong Singapore or anywhere, now only hunt for decent VBs in VN. More KC I think.
My tieng viet is lousy still, I just act like I know hee hee.

ha..just wonder how you guys survive in VN. Cost of living low? Besides TV which one can pick up when u are there long enough, there's little opportunity to find any living/work there. And there's the immigration matter - what options available and so. The other brother has kid there (presumably Singaporean), staying in VN longer term would need some sort of immigration arrangement.
Would be glad to know more...
I tried a few types like saigon bia etc... very tasteless sia.... don't know why so popular..
Where got tasteless? U mean beer tasted like water? think something wrong with yur tastebud roi.
They r popular cos they are much cheaper than "imported" brands.

If the Singaporean choose to live like the locals in small and run down houses, eat vegetables and little meat, go around in small motorbikes, then cost will be much lower than Singapore. But of course, standard of living will be much lower too. Forgot to add, let your kids study in local vietnamese schools too. If the Singaporean choose to live like the living standard in Singapore, then cost will be around the same as Singapore. So it really depends on what the Singaporean is looking for. As for immigration, its not much of problem as something can be worked out easily with $$$.
