The day they stop the ferry between btm and SIN is the end of batam...but they can still come to batam by air....hehe .....200 LT. 50 ST for quality ones, back to70s , 80s....thanks, keep us posted about the ferry...I doubt they will stop the ferry, life is secondary, money is first...hehe!!!

Utama hotel didn't fully depend on sg guests... they hosts quite a lots of indo seminal/event which the guests from other cities could helps sustains their room Occupancy rate.

There're more indo passengers on btm route.

Not sure about Balai and Pinang

When the locals get sick, they will go apotik (pharmacy)
Covid-19 symptoms to them is just daily sakit sakitan..
Very common and normal to have. Seldom will visit doctor.
Some doctors even close shop and escapes to SG now.
Got 100 close contact suppose to be quarantine, they only quarantine 15, and 2 of them even ran away.
Got how many still running on the street.
How many locals willing to be quarantine?
No income for next 14 days and need to pay for test and treatment.
Real situation is far worse then reported.
I suggest you stay at your country first
I already inform my OCs to pack up and standby to leave batam anytime..

Like tat matter of time ferries to Btm will be suspended to contain the virus fm multiplying. TBK and TP may follow suit

Sifu ndnd, it puzzles me , why some Doctors in batam close shops and escape to Singapore?....there are over 20k islands in Indonesia, they just move there , catch fish, rear chickens and live happily there....I hope it will not happen...Singapore will run out of food, and nobody wants to sell food to them...money become useless, cannot eat it....hehe!!!

Ferry not yet....

Ferry has cut the frequency of travelling both way. Notice Horizon ferry cuts some of its timing in the morning trip and worse still, happening on weekends too.

Ferry company hasnt feel the pinch yet. Maybe in another month's time regardless whether situation if corona virus worsen, they will feel it.

See? 31st May 2020 Ferry coupon already out,hehehe...but i doubt i will need it for now.

Ferry coupon is even selling in online market place at about 8 pieces for S$10,hehehe...but most of its expiry dates fell on 31st March, some during end of April.

See, BCS penuin area, Eatern Food Court's famous fish soup stall waiting for customer at almost 1pm noon time on a Saturday.

(normally, those displayed fish would have been long gone at that hour)

Plenty of seats in the coffee shops too, no need wait to be seated,hehehe...
