Just had my first visit to Classic T2. Thanks to bros Alpharomeoo and Rambocat for the detailed info.

Since the group I was traveling with are not interested in cheonging, I excused myself for 2 hours. I caught a cab and told the driver to go to Hotel Classic Pasar Baru. Luckily the driver knew where it is.
After about 15 minutes taxi ride, we arrived at the hotel lobby. Immediately went to Terminal 2, the girl at the door said cover charge is IDR 40.000. Went in, music was blaring, 2 girls in skimpy undies were dancing on stage. After adjusting myself to the dark interior, I started looking for girls. I found that the girls to the left of the entrance are somewhat nicer looking than the right side. Some mamis tried to intro their girls, but I told them I'm gonna look first.
Picked a girl, paid the mami, and went to the room. She asked me to buy her a small tube of KY since she ran out, and I told her she could order a drink if she wanted to. To her credit, she asked for my permission to make purchases
She told me she didn't like to be painted. Fine, I was not planning to Took some time for me to finish. Maybe because of the KY. She was very accommodating, though.
Showered again, gave her tip and went to the cashier to pay cover charge and the purchases. Cashier gave me the exit token to be given to the security at the door.
Went back to the hotel lobby, got in one of the taxis there, and concluded my first trip to Classic.

Thought if you took a girl you did not need to pay the cover charge in addition, has this now changed???

I assumed cover charge is imposed just to get into the establishment, regardless what you do inside. Bro Alpharomeoo FAQ mentions no cover charge for entry before 6pm, but I arrived late at night.

Wahh...the price increase has more than covered the rupiah depreciation. A year plus ago, it was about 1.6 million rupiah for Thais, Chinese, Viets..

That works out to around S$360/1/1.
When I was last there in 2012, a PRC girl was Rp 1.6m.

The available stock of girls is a bit on the low side. Most PRCs are away fro CNY and this left behind CMI IMHO.
In fact, apart from locals , the quality is surprisingly pretty poor especially Russians and Ukrainian. Viets and Thais are just average.

Very few customers, even for a Monday night. Can't help but feel the pricing is too high for this joint.

Going to check out Malioboro tonight.
