Re: Vietnam - HCM
At least once a month and everytime she is using my home address. They dont even need her to show any money. Many times without any question asked. Sometimes, the immigration officers will just asked her how is weather in Vietnam? Maybe, my BX has a different look than the rest of the vietnamese ladies.

Seems like alot advising against buying Yamaha Nouvo.. both new and old. Apparently a very heavy petrol drinker. Was recommended the Attila but after test riding she say "too girly" and "too low" and "too weak". Troi oi. She wants a manly bike. Hahaa. Anyway, now she's looking at some Hondas, I think Airblade, partly due to fuel economy. Back to scouring the internet for me then. But thanks all you guys for the valuable input!

By tracking such history of visit, ICA may just identify her as genuien visitor/tourist. My bro's wife also flies to sillypore frequently with short stay. Everytime is an easy access. 1 more thing to note is that they are truely here as a visitor and not to work, they will have the confident to talk back when they are being suspected. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
Hi all! I'm heading to HCM alone to unwind next week. I have a question, I know I need to change only enough dong for taxi fare when I arrive, what happen after that? Shopping, eating & chionging? Pay in dong, US$ or S$ ah?
I just going for shopping, sight seeing & maybe sleep overs for 2 nights, how much $ should I carry with me? Thank u in advance for your feedback & ideas.

Re: Vietnam - HCM
I swung by Caesar's last week to find the nightclub/disco section appearing as if it's in mothballs. Pitch black, not a sound coming out of it. Tables and chairs folded up and up against walls. This at 7.30pm or so. It may be totally closed, for good. It seemed to be by the looks of it.
Downstairs at the front desk of the hotel, the receptionists seemed to have a policy of 'no comment', pretending to at first think it was open, but when I told them it wasn't, then they suddenly didn't want to speak any more. A pity if it's gone for good. As far as I could tell, the massage and karaoke were still open, though it seemed very lifeless up there. |

Keep the balance SGD$500 as emergency. Dont change too much as the VND is worthless outside of Vietnam. |
