Not sure about the market price for room service there. What would be the standard damage for overnight service? Decent service and company would be good

Ancol Dreamland?
Grand Indonesia Mall?
Central Park?
Tanah Abang Market?
ITC Mangga Dua?
Blok M Square?
I hope you don't intend to walk around outside hotel or building in jakarta....
Agree with MikeC. Most places even if across the road, we are advised by locals to take taxi. Day time all spas are open as well if you go through the thread, bros here would have discussed that. Other than that, it's Mall, mall or mall.

jkt is a bit different in this aspect from bkk.
in bkk, u can take BTS, walk around the street in sukhumvit to explore.
in jkt, somehow their streets are poorly planned and constructed.
my advise is to take a blue bird....else be prepared to sweat in that hot weather.
there are only some places like plaza indonesia area where the pavements are more orderly to walk... or like the bro above said , tharmin or the sudirman district.
day time activity - u can visit places like the malls....they are huge..
get a cofffee at starbucks..who knows..u may meet a indo chi tai tai
else, visit fortune spa or delta spa etc... but be warned, even at 2pm ..the traffic is sibei jia lat....
even for nite time, the action starts at 11pm in the clubs like CJ
so for me , best to go malio , emporim of alexis, sit at the lounge to beo the gals, get a drink, or enojy the facilities.. rather than waste time caught in jam
As brothers here have said, the ladies sit in different segment handled by different mamasan.
350k Rp per shot.
Interval ladies stripped and dance and come down to let you rabba but must pay LD 3 shots at 105k Rp.
Got a lady after much consideration. So so only.
Body after stripped not as nice as I thought.
All drooping front and back!
Ordered a drink inside at 23kRp n tips 50k Rp.

I seriously doubt the locals will make such advice. locals walk on foot all the time, especially for the ridiculously no-brainer distance as across the road that you mentioned. I went for my first trip in Jakarta a few months back, staying in MyHotel Hayam Wuruk and I walked around all the time, including to Club 36 and all the way to the famous Bubur Ayam Mangga Besar. once, upon exiting Golden Crown at Glodok Plaza at midnight, I even took the offer of a motorbike taxi after they noticed that I couldn't agree to a fare with taxi to go to the main road where I could easily flag down a BLUEBIRD.
it is good to be cautious and street smart but there is absolutely no need to be unduly alarmed.

It depends on locations. Gajah mada, mangga besar are quite ok. Outside hyatt at night hmmmm there is a slum there, I wouldn' dare.
By the way, I lived in jakarta before and had gone through a couple of armed robbery. Usually give wallets and watches.
At least the robbers used knife while in manila, they use guns
Jakarta100bars website says that Red Square at Senayan Arcadia is closed. Is this info correct or outdated?
Any brothers in Jakarta over the weekend, please PM me if you want to explore together places like 1001, Grand Paragon, X2, Fashion Flirt etc.
they are closed and will reopen soon
stillgot X2 (the red Sq people mostly now go to x2) or empirica (lots of upper class indo chi )
if all else fails, u always have CJ which IMHO, quality is still generically better than BATS etc . and CJ also have non WL there to chill.. so who knows . might get lucky
