Grand Hyatt is so close to Kota scene. The nearest place is V2 spa in Harmony. It's located next to Carrefour. I used to go there a lot when I worked near the place.

Kempinsky is actually across the street from Grand Hyatt. So, same advice. I think it would be better for you to go out, since Kota is a most 45 mins away north of your hotel. You can visit the regular places like Malioboro, or any other places on Mangga Besar road.

Every bank is about the same, about RP 10,000,000 per day, or your card's limit....which ever comes first.

Regarding the hotel girls, I first realized this was an option while staying at Shangri La about five years ago, on the second of many visits.
