If you are looking for a budget, yet clean, safe and somewhat upscale environment, suggest you try King Cross in Kelapa Gading next time. Can also makan in famous nearby seafood restaurant before hand, relax in a dirty Spa like Sumo, and even have a cheap drink and quicke at MTR.

All these places within walking distance, and this area is good value for the money, but is a little far from the city center.

Got the update on Sumo price and selection? Last time I went was so long ago when they just open, I remember for local massage and China massage etc.

Going again on mid March, think will be staying in Kelapa gading area this time.

I think ST rate at MTR2 Club is RP400K all in.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes only downside of Kelapa Gading is a bit far from city center.

Sumo is not great value for ceweks, but i usually just pay entry/faciltas fee and use the Spa to relax there while looking at ceweks and having a drink in the afternoon (I save my juices for King Cross afterwards). I believe Sumo pricing is about 800k - 1Jt for locals, and not sure for PRC/import (Guess it is 1.6-1.8Jt).

If you plan to Stay in Kelapa Gading, i suggest only 1-2 nights there (will get very boring fast, unless you want to goto MoI every day). You should also stay somewhere walking distance to King Cross (like The BnB) so you can just walk home afterwards without getting chopped by the Taxi Mafia at night.

Thanks for the info, I use to go Delta there previously but always skip Sumo, maybe this trip will try Sumo.

Tried BnB before but don't really like the room, small and very thin wall can hear people talking and walking. Normally I stay Harris which is link to MKG...prefer to shop in MKG than MOI or MAG

As for taxi after king cross, usually I walk all the way out to the main road or I use bluebird apps to order taxi 10-15 mins before I exit from the SPA.

English not so commonly use in King Cross although some may speak simple broken English. But the pricing system is quite standard and no harm for you to just try it, just be extra careful of the sexy dancer drinks at 4th floor as some may just keep drinking at super fast speed and you may find your bill a little shock....I usually reject all dancer.

Prepare taxi apps and get taxi from Bluebird or grab taxi etc, or just walk all the way to the main road to get a bluebird back to Harris.
