It should be OK if you avoid going out during protest Dec 2. if u worried just wait a few days and see what happens before u decide.

Dun always go JKT, try new city like Phnom Penh. Just came back from GZ, damn super cold at night. Will go again but must have mm to hug at night.

Went to Emporium last night and was a bit disappointed actually. Arrived around 11pm and went straight to the club. I don't know if you have to ask the staff there if you want to speak to the girls after their dancing, at least they was not very proactive. Which is fine if you only want to enjoy your drink. No pushing for drinks which is also good. Quality of girls good but not stunning. That being said I only went to the club. The place is also a lot smaller than what it looks on pictures, although that is usually the case. Not sure why I was not more impressed, maybe too tired.

Also visited CJ in Mulia, have to say that place has also taken the wrong direction with regards to quality of girls. A lot better only a year or two ago.

Maybe try Classic tonight.

Guess I'll try to avoid the Monas tomorrow. Already the police is ramping up. Hope it don't destroy to much of my business program during the day (different kind of business...).

For places I think my favorite is where you can take a girl with you back to the hotel. Have had great luck before with CJ and Bats but realize my hotel this time is more within the entertainment district so may have to give that a try.

Didn't manage to catch u as I went early. Went to the classic terminal at 2 escalator up. Once inside, the mamasan intro me to the gals. Took tarma for 550,000. Tot it's quite cheap. Went to the room and they ask for drink. Asked how much, they say just pay upstairs. So ordered 3 mineral water. Then do the deeds one by one. After deed ask me for tips. Took out 50,000 for them, but they said not enough.. 100,000 each.. so just give them.. den decided to check out.. the bill for the water is 190,000. Total damage 940,000 which is $100. Just nice for 2 cat 50.

Thanks for report. FYI Locals usually tip only 50,. I only tip 100,000 for good service, 50k for mediocore service, and 0 if shitty service. I also refuse to buy them any drinks/cigarettes if they are clearly just leaching, or unless they are quite bubbly, friendly or stunning. 190k for water is just ridiculous!!! that is almost $19 for water!!!!!

Classic girls are mostly programmed to leach $$ off you through customers (especially foreigners) through tips/drinks/cigarettes, don't be carrot and pressure to give in to their demands, unless of course she deserve it somehow. I make sure they work for it and earn it. They can take what i wanna give or leave it, their choice.

Good service I give RP100K tip.

RP190K bill cannot be just 3 bottles of mineral water.
