Today marks the end of FIRST part of our plan. I think we have achieved some results - I can observe that there are lesser people visiting the HCs/TNs.

While we may have WIN the battle, we have not won the WAR yet. Let's kick off our second part of our plan tomorrow onwards !

P/S: For joints that have reduced their prices, can some brothers list down ?
Because if they have reduced their prices, we should not boycott them. By right we should go to them so that others can see it and lower their prices

OUR PLAN
=========

1. This week 23-29 March 2009. Shun away from all HCs/TNs.

2. 30 Mar - 30 April 2009. Ban areas in or near CBD. This would include places like PP complex, PP Centre, Chinatown areas, Tanjong Pagar, Fortune Centre, Selegie, Adelphi, Bencoolen etc etc.

I think we should start on CBD areas (Central & South of Singapore) as usually these are the ones which are too expensive.

3. We'll monitor for 3 weeks (starting from 30 Mar) and decide the next action in that week. Will decide whether to focus on East, West or other zones. If some places in (2) still charge high places, we can include them in for another month when we include another zone.

Everyone agrees ? If yes, once again, spread the message across.

On the general view, this downturn should have bring prices down to a more realistic level. But come to think of it, there are those big entreprises still holding their price as though this downturn is not a matter.

The transport cost should be lower has not really done enough. (2 cts nia). The housing where many have bought their home at a high is still holding. Shopping mall from the REITs are not bulging down when business dropped so much.

The WL/FL just like us have these costs to bear as well. I believe some "actualisation" will happen soon for the big entreprise, business and consumer to reach an agreeable point soon.

its all about buyer n seller timing issue...if a buyer is not desparate to buy, he will wait for price to go down..likewise a seller who has holding power n not desparate to sell, he will wait for price to go up...only time will tell who will win this battle

Today marks the first day of our Plan Part 2 which is supposed to continue for 1 full month.

For those who cannot tahan (I can understand), if possible, go to FL or other HCs/TNs that locate in East, West, North or North-East zones EXCEPT the zones (CBD - South and Central Zones of Singapore) we intend to avoid the next 4 weeks.

If you still prefer to go to CBD joints, well, we cannot stop you. Would appreciate if you can still try to nego to lower prices and convey our message to these owners that we're SERIOUS in having them reducing the prices to reasonably level (and reflect current economic situation) before we visit them again.

For those joints in CBD but have lowered their prices to our expectation, they SHOULD NOT in our radar.
