I have read an interview from straits times on vietnam wife marry to singapore many years back. It mention some of the husband dont have stable job and 1 drug addict went to jail leaving the viet wife working to take care of their children and the man aged parents, the wife did not run away. It protrait a good side for vietnamese wife. How true is it?
My own thoughts, maybe wrong, there are many bad viet girl just out to milk the foreign man for quick gains. But there are also hardworking and good girls. I have friend marry viet wife become good wife and mother.
But many thing share in this thread are...... some bros go fish girls who work as Whores and expect them become good gf, and some very old man go Vietnam fish for greedy young girls and expect true love from them.
And think about this, how high the chances for a young girl to love a old man more than 20 years age gap? Anyone can answer this? It hurts many people but it is reality. If age not a problem, why dont find girl in own country?
End up old man and cheongster just attract the greedy young girls & WL who just want money from man most of the time. And thus in their eyes, most viet girls are always bad because they always end up meet bad girls, they have lower opportunity to meet the good girls due to either their old age or the place they fish like KTV and cafe.

I knew a VB who work as a waitress in Singapore taking of 2~3 children cos the husband didn't want to take any responsible of the children.
One other vb I know used to work as waitress in KTV and now working as Beer Lady in one hawker. Husband make her pregnant, married her in Singapore, but during pregnacy, Husband bonk vb good friend. Now, they are still staying together, but wife stay in a room while husband stay in other room. I don't understand why the husband still apply Singapore Citizen for this vb and now this vb is a Sporean. So complicated

i think alot depends on the objectives of marriage btw the 2 parties. if both do not share the common objective, one could be in it for money and the other in it for free sex, the relationship will fall apart very easily as either or both parties will not make an effort to sustain it. they could end up still living together but 同床异梦.
there are guys who married ex WL but still subconsciously see their wives as sluts and continue their cheonging lifestyle after marriage. this kinda guys do not understand what marriage is all about, maybe they never even give 2 thoughts abt it. just get married and makes the girl happy 1st, the rest later then say.
