Actually BR played a 4-3-3 against Rovers, with Johnson as RB and Moreno as LB. Now with all 3 first choice CBs carrying injuries I think BR may need to change to a back 4 for the time being, so a 4-4-2 diamond may also be on the cards.

Only Sakho is injured. Skrtel was suspended and Emre Can is back in the team again. I think BR has oredi given up on Lovren.

I'm still not convinced with manure. Too dependent on Rooney n of cos, they hv a keeper De Gea in top form. I won't be surprised if off form MC beats them.

Many will level the blame on Brendan.

However, Liverpool operates in a strategic method whereby a transfer committee discusses the transfers.

This is one of the many reasons Liverpool's transfer policy is nowhere close to Chelsea, Manchester City, or United and even Arsenal is miles away despite the club's tight budgeting.

A manger's role is to manage the players or resources he has or already have.
This is a man-management role...

At the moment, he still (or would never) have the authority to determine a transfer target because he does not have the level of a top manager to have any impact the board on this area.

So, if the players do not perform, it is because he is being unmotivated by the Manager or the player run into a wrong position, it is the fault of the Manager.

We always hear that you cannot blame the Manager because he is not the one who plays on the pitch but instead it is the players, however, he is the one who determine who goes onto the pitch and chair the team talk before and after the game.

My boss always tell me, it is eazy to replace one Manager than to replaced his entire subordinates....this logic works everyone

Most of the goals MB scored in the Serie A were from penalties & free kicks. His goal returns from freeplay were embarrassing to mention.

Liverpool can utilise Johnson Kolo Lovren Moreno/Enrique.Since Skrtel is baned for 3 matches. Hope Sahko's injury is not that serious. I still do not have faith in Lovren.

Liverpool should use the 4-4-2 with 2 strikers upfront. If you only have 1 striker it is easy to mark him. I really don't know why BR use more of Borini and Lambert while he still have them.

I wonder if MB is really sick ? Or is he faking it ? We know how to fake a fever right ?

Oops you are right on Skrtel and Can

I can't understand what has happened to Lovren? His form at Saints and following on at WC14' was pretty good but once he pulled on the red shirt his form went south??

Though BR have the right to choose which players he wants . The person who is holding the money is not him. Also Liverpool's transfer policy is always a big joke in the transfer market. Liverpool spent so many months observing the target until our rivals got a sniff of it and snatch the target right under Liverpool's nose. Even we have Champions League Liverpool still is not able to attract top talent to the club. Sadly BR doesn't have the cloud like RB does.
